I wouldn't draft based on Minter's coaching scheme; he's likely going to be hired elsewhere as a HC and moving on.
I think most knowledgeable Chargers fans would agree that Guard, Center, and Edge will be the main focus in the 2026 draft. Getting a player who could start at guard and be a backup tackle would be ideal. Gotta protect Jus10 Herbert.

Everyone in the scouting community says, "Don't scout the logo on the helmet," but I always push back, if a team consistently recruits a type and those kids dominate CFB but then bomb in the league, why wouldn't I pay attention to that? Proctor is Fluker/Neal/Leatherwood…
It has to be Ola Ioane from PSU round 1 or Jake Slaughter if we dont get Linderbaum in FA. Dont wanna see nothing else. Our interior is the worst in the league.

I would not be against this draft at all. The two O Line picks are perfect. The only change I might make would be that 3rd pick, and I might go LB instead of Edge. Primarily depending on what happens with Mack and a couple of other LBs this off season.
Jake slaughter or bust. We need him
Guard and tackle first two picks. Rashaun Benny DT from Michigan 3rd. We most likely re- sign Oweh, so Edge no longer a priority. My draft:
1) Pregnon @ LG( esp if we trade down -Zion better at RG)
2) Carter Smith from Indiana at RT
3) Benny DT or Bisontis (RG Texas).
4) Center to sit and learn behind Linderbaum …unless we finally play James and turns out he’s the future.
My logic is this entire team aside from o line needs to be brought back. Slater may not be here- things could get messy there. Obv if we don’t sign Linderbsum we can’t go past the 2nd without a Center.
