toe injuries are crazy. garland broke his toe in the playoffs and hes still playing bad because of it
Wish they would just pull him until he’s completely healthy, since this is a lost season regardless but he’s competitive so I doubt he wants to do so.
Props to this man. Not giving up, grinding, doing what he can to help the team, having a career year. You can tell he lost the explosive moves to the basket we saw those first couple games.
Man, this year has been a giant middle finger to the pacers. It was all so much fun, then it all just lead to more pain 🙁
Shut him down for the season. Guy needs to fully heal.
The thing is he should probs be resting but he needs to prove he can perform to get paid.
I have a feeling this may be used as a reason to sit him out to further the Pacers tanking efforts.
Clearly. He hasn’t been the same player since
may be a blessing in disguise because he has to limit his movement, and it has made him play within the system.
Maybe take a month off to be sure. We’ve seen enough, you’re the fuckin man, now let’s go lose some games
Joe Burrow missed multiple months with the same injury. This news shouldn’t be a surprise. And we shouldn’t be surprised that Mathurin is willing to play in pain to get back on the court.
What is means in terms or risk/ tanking strategy is not all that interesting to me. What I like is the competitive fire.
Darius Garland has taught me that toe injuries are much more serious than we give it credit for
