Seattle waited a long time for moments like this and then Kraken delivered with Franchise’s first playoff series win.

Yeah, that was pretty cool. Too bad management is desperately trying to follow that up to the detriment of the team’s future. Oh well, they still have half a decade until I start to get seriously annoyed by the progression of this expansion team.
I don’t want to seem negative, but I feel we might be waiting a little bit for the next one. I’ll wait for as long as it takes though, big up the Kraken!

Then proceeded to trade half that team away. 🙁
Now Hakstol is an asst coach on that team.
Remember the group I was with watching this, just a surreal moment I truly treasured.
Also remember we didn’t sign Geekie. Who is now tearing it up in Boston. We had the best 4th line in the league that year. No 1st line but 2x 2nd lines and 2x 3rd lines. True scoring by committee and no real lines to exploit. They could all score.
Win… that word feels so familiar and yet somehow so distant.
