Crash Test Covey is so much better than Gipson
Never understood moving on from him, he does everything you want your returner to do, except hit the home run. Our best returner in a minute.

Should’ve been out there earlier, but it is what it is now. Rock solid player for us, happy to see him back out there.

Didn’t he fumble once already? I mean I still love watching crash test covey regardless.
He’s always been good. He just doesn’t have that home run threat ability which is kinda what you want.

The difference was noticeable the 1st game that Crash Test Covey was back
Which begs the question: why was he in the PS anyway?
Covey is the man when it comes to returns.
The way they do return averages for returners is so dumb. It needs to be yards / kick, not yards per non-fair-caught kick.
Covey has talked about this before, how guys will fair catch a kick that they could get a couple yards on to keep their average up.
Honestly funny how things worked out. Got hurt last year so likely the organization was skeptical to bring him back and hand him the returner job upon him coming back. Gets the job back anyway due to Gipson’s poor play and Jaire Alexander retires so he gets his old number back.
