As someone who’s spent all week being mr contrarian in the “we should sell off assets and tank!” posts, I’d still say folks are still pretty positive when they’re winning too.
I assume the first one is us sleeping because even in our wins we were lulled to sleep by the boring style of play?
Kraken fans on social media are some of the most unwarrantedly positive in North American sports. I mean, compare to the Canucks – their fans on social media are universally trashing the team and the org has basically already committed to a full-scale rebuild. Kraken have only 1 more point than the Canucks and Kraken fans are posting stuff like “It’s not so bad”, “we just need patience”, “it’s just injuries, we’ll be fine”
You should hear how my family and friends in real life talk about the Kraken compared to social media.
This place seems to be the most positive. Insta/facebook/twt they seem to more nasty from what I have seen.
But I’m also a Seahawks fan so it comes with the territory to hate 😅
Listen dude… I can only say “We’re never gonna lose again!” so many times before it starts making me really sad
This is just not true. The Reddit has been overly optimistic about the kraken since the beginning. To the point where I have been pissed. We are finally getting fed up. We pay some of the highest ticket prices in the NHL the product should be a lot better than it is.

This is why I’m not here as much anymore. It’s starting to interfere with my enjoyment of the games instead of enhancing it. I can still enjoy the game if we lose, like last night, but not while slogging through 30 thousand “I’m tired, boss” memes and comments.

I agree. It’s not to Toronto levels yet…but man. Makes me want to unsubscribe at times.
The first one is us dreaming that they were winning to start the season. I’m not sure that ever really happened.
I come here for fun or for something interesting to think about. I’m all for *substantive* critique, but the dogpile this month has been exhausting.
