Hannifan. Let’s see if he steps up here tonight
and then after. Okay, let’s get after it. Sit back and enjoy this one from T-Mobile Arena. Noah
Hannipan out of the corner for the Golden Knights as hampered by New Jerseyy’s Dawson Mercer. Mercer
now in the poor check. Jesper Brad at his side along with their captain Nico Heir. Heir from the
wall slings when a tip off the pad of Carter Hart. The tip from Dawson Mercer hand going back on
the back check. No shots on the power play for the Golden Knights. Brandon Saw accelerates in
a power move shut down by Allen. Loose now along the boards. Paul Carter tries to get to it.
The former Golden Knight. Ivan Barbashev goes to work. He’ll drop it off. A reset by Smith to
Braden McNav. A shot taken. Swallowed up by Jake Allen. All the way around. Ivan Barbashev after
the bit. A steal a turnover. Brown goes high. A great look for Connor Brown. He’ll come out with
it. The pass intended for White. Forged in now by Dylan Mercer to the slot. Great stop by Hart. The
rebound short by Brown. Holton White will get to it. We talked about a little bit earlier.
The Devils going to work along the boards and winning some board battles. They stay with
it again. just right around the roulette wheel there. Good quick little pass there from Mercer
Taheser and Hart with a tremendous save in close Paul Connor coming back with once a Vegas goal
tonight. There was a big sign there Johnny back in your day. Welcome back. Oh yeah, back in my
day. Here’s Peshy with a shot. Body down by Hart Riley Smith. Braden Bon here it’s Saw with Hutton.
Smith the trailer’s got it back for Hutton. Oh, Allen got across. Beautiful save by Jake Allen.
Left to go in period number one. We go coast to coast on this rush. Ben Hunt with a chance. What
a dandy by Jake Allen. The lane is there. You got to get it there. And everybody down low’s got
to realize it’s coming. Brat will take it in. Now a shot taken and it goes off the goal post.
Heir again cut off by Hart. Sends it back to the point. Brat for Heir. Jesper Brat will turn,
address it, move it. Mason this way. Hurt came up big. Andre Pal with a clean look and Carter
Hart had none of that. Watch this little pass to the right of Carter Hart. Mason’s going to
come to your right here. Watch this. Watch 11 white. He’s going to work himself over. Watch this
pass. How about Hart there? Well aware that Pala was on that step and he was quick. They’re quick.
Rat with a shot and it’s caught by Hart. Hunter Brown good year in Edmonton last season. Now glass
greeted there by Kolasar. Hamilton full strength blocked by Carter and third turns away that one
from Conor Brown. You like goending? Take a look at all of this. Held in by Vegas’s hurdle. Doria
now Barbashed. Pavl Doria deals it back for White Cloud. Over here it’s Hannipathan. Hannneathan
a shot fought off. Hannipathan the rebound and it wouldn’t go again. Hannipathan resets the
play. White cloud up top. Looks for a shooting lane. Noah Hannneathan blocker down by Allen.
He gets the rebound. He’ll take it in on Hurdle and sets up Pratt Hughes this way. Peshy in the
slot chipped in by Mercer. Scooped up by Carter Hart. Carter off the stick of Brett Powen out
of the corner. He’ll hunt it down ahead of Luke Hughes. 34 seconds left in the period. Henipathan
up top. One tipped on denied by Allen and Pug for the long glove down by Hamilton. Marner to the
slot. Taken in by Pavll Dorv. Nice dangle shot down by Jake Allen. By Hamilton and Dorafia jumps
on the ice. Looks like he wants to make a pass. And oh he goes by a couple of Devils and then
goes right around Seanthaler and Allen again with a nice stop Bowman stick in there goes on and
now Barbers Chev up top for Jeremy Loausan missing run tipped high by Riley Smith broken up take a
look at the odds from DraftKing sports book button hook out and stone to the outside for Stone for
flyer with a pass looking for the captain out in Oh, some great chances here. Passing play. Powder
turns up. Stone. The Martyr back to Stone. Can’t believe he missed it. He wants it. He gets it.
Mark Stone will hustle across. Marner grinding out of the corner. Mitch Marner to the slot.
Coutton McNav a steer off the bounce. Set high. It was Corsac down low. Stanley Cup pedigree from
Tampa Bay. Wedged in by Cody Glass. Hannipathan, the Boston native, try to wheel out a cut off by
Brown. He’s in and he scores. Conor Brown with a power move to the house and the Devils break
the ice in the first period and air mailed it up and over the net. Hannifan with a little
chip play. It bounces from the corner out to the left wing boards and let’s see where he
puts his puck. Does he go under the pad? A mo is there for the Devils and now it’s controlled
and brought out by Riley Smith forward defending him. Carter Bowman right in stopped again by
Allen. Prevents a chance and now recoils for Colton White. Nice pass for Mercer. Here
it comes. Swallowed up by Carter Hart. He’s the one that took the worst of it. Still uh
trying to get it buried here. Point shot bended off by Carter Hart. Douggee Hamilton with that
shot. Luke Hughes and he didn’t get all that pass. It was cut off by Stone. Short-handed saw
with a chance stopped by Jake Allen. Cutter taken down by Hamilton with a one- arm shiver.
Hamilton right in caught by Carter Hart. No Jack Eel tonight for the Golden Knights. Out
with an illness. No Shay Theodore on the back end. A steal. Nor PMF walks in. Shut down again by Jay
Gall. There’s Cassidy, the terrific head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights. You change the lines
all around. You’re looking for one line. Yeah, you’d love to see all four lines to all of a
sudden connect, but you’re just looking for the right combination to get your team back into
it. And what a chance there for Doria. Dorian does the same. Awaiting the puck is Mitch Mner. Tied
up by Peshi. It pops out. Stone Dorian scores Norm. Alone on the weak side and the Golden
Knights have tied it with a power play goal. Mitch Martin is going to pump this puck out and it
takes a fortunate bounce and then Mark Stone with the back hand and Pavl Dorv air mails his puck
up and over a sprawling Jake Allen. Dorv just hangs out down there in that one time position.
The most dangerous spot on the ice and that one timer and he was not going to miss that top
shelf shot. That’ll be his ninth power play goal of the season. He has points and four straight
now. Bowman will knock it down. And Jersey had here’s Glass. Shut down and frozen by Carter
Hart. Well, the table was set for Cody Glass and he wasn’t able to cash in. Bowman trying to
chip this puck back. He does and a paw with a beautiful pass over starts to break out. We’re
looking at Tomas Hurdle. He’s in with a shot rejected by Jay Gallon. It’s a jailbreak for New
Jersey. Stone one more time. Mner Doria drags it. Thinks twice. Mner inside tight. A shot off the
post and it goes out of play. Chance to breathe a little bit. moves it around beautifully. Marner
waits for Dylan to go down. Goes back the other way and as you called it Johnny perfectly
right off the post. 23 seconds left in OT Stone. A power move off the post. It stays out.
He sure sends it out. 15 seconds left for the Golden Knights here in the last what minute?
45 50 seconds. Absolutely. And on that one, Mercer, who’s in the box, opened the door
and stood up. Thought the game was over. Oh, her with two post and he’s not able to make the trip here to uh
to Vegas. Paul Carter is shooter number one for New Jersey. Little dangle shut
down by Carter. That’s a little wave, the magic wave above the pop right here. A little
wa his late power play goal forced overtime. He’s in the one hole for Bruce Cassidy. Shut down
beautifully. A club save by Jake Allen. Boy, did he read that beautifully. Allen into
his body and then trying to go to that glove side and Allen just read it. Jesper Brat
with a big bag of tricks. Here he comes. He scores a beautiful goal to the roof. Just
a walk in the park here for Brad. Picked his spot and then a little bit of a forehand backand
all one motion and just inside of the crossbar in the two hole. A go wide stopped
again by Jake Allen. Same shot, same result. For New Jersey number seven,
Douggee Hamilton tried to go glove side. It’s Douggee Hamilton’s turn. He’ll come in from
an angle. Stare down Hart and Hart comes up big west. Yeah. Tries to just tries to open him up
there, but Carter Hart again. Mner, you see the numbers. Here he is. He scores. Go. The followup.
They wave it off. New Jersey wins the shootout.

Im pretty suprised how Vegas was keeping thier defense good and offense
Hart and allen played one of their best games ive seen them play, both kept their team in the game. Easily the best game ive watched this season
Great goal tending in this one.
As someone who is just recently getting into hockey, can someone explain why Marner's "goal" didn't count?
Payback for what the Golden Knights did in New Jersey
Big road win for the Devils. Solid goaltending by both teams.
