I think Kirk Cousins, by the way he talks, is going to be an OC or game commentator at the end of his career because he talks like an actual coach and not a player.
He sucks
Listen to Kirk talk about the progression in play calls give me insight as to why Michael Penix was struggle this year. This is something that he does need to develop on a more consistent level.
no more Falcons related media until the front office steps up and communicates with the fans.
Cousins could hold a master class for all quarterbacks in the nfl on progressions. Something I learned while writing the book, The Real GOAT Scoring System, was that Kirk may be the best the game has ever seen at working through progressions. Only 4 quarterbacks have ever completed 60 or more passes to 4 different receivers, Peyton, Drew, Justin Hebert and Kirk. If Cousins was not injured in 2023 and benched in 2024 he would have not only done it two more times but was on pace to get 4 different receivers 66 catches.
Now we know about Kyle. He’s always been 3 in the progression, which is the reason he checks out. Him being number 1 and knowing he’s getting the ball we are now seeing the jump. He was also 1 his rookie year
Fun story about being the guy in the 5th progression and not getting the ball 11:52….Mike McDaniel (yes, that Mike McDaniel, HC of the Dolphins and one of Kirk's coaches in Washington) told a story:
(In Kirk's first start against the Browns) McDaniel said: "We have a keeper where he rolls to his right and there's a guy dragging across, that's his first option. Leonard Hankerson runs a post on the backside to clear out the safety. He's like a non-option. And Kirk, on the move, throws it 60 yards across his body and hits Hankerson for a touchdown. He came back to the sideline and said, 'Yeah — it just flashed.' We couldn't believe he'd done it. That play survives in our teach tapes because it's the only time it's been thrown. I love it when that happens, 'cause now I can show that play every year to our receivers and say, 'See — it could come to you — so run your fastest.' "

Kirk should have been the starter all season. The Falcons would have a far better record and still be in the playoffs. I really can't see him wanting to be a Falcon next year.
When you watch these press conferences you really see how deep football really goes and just how good and knowledgeable Kirk Cousins is at it all. Even if he doesn't start for us next year he will definitely go somewhere and find success.
Good job cousins 👍🏾
People who says he sucks doesn’t know anything about football or about Cousins look at his stats compared to all the QBs it hasn’t always been his fault to the loses!
Kirko Chains needs a good end and then coach the falcons next season. imagine how BA that would be
