The Phillies Projected 2026 Outfield Isn’t Good Enough

Dave Dumbrosssky’s comments yesterday. Like listen, I I’m we’re pretty sharp baseball minds on the show, Rey. I think when when they signed Garcia, our initial takeaway was, “So, they’re done. So, this is it. This is what their outfield’s going to look like.” Yep. And a lot of people were, “Well, no, they’re going to start they’re going to sign Bader or no, they’re going to get Bellinger.” No, they’re going to sign Bader. Well, Dave Deowski and I guess things could happen, but I think 90% maybe even more. this is the outfield they’re going to have going into the season wi with the exception of maybe getting another platoon bat or another backup that’s in there. But for the most part, the team that you see right now is the team that you’re going to have. They’re using their money on JT Room. Hopefully he signs sooner than later if if you want him back at least. So this team, this Phillies team right now is the team that we’re going to have in 2026. I don’t know if it’s good enough. I know the fans aren’t going to be particularly happy with it because a lot of talk was, “Well, you’re going to run it back.” And I’ve heard a lot of push back from Rob Thompson, from Dumbrosseski, from some other talking heads saying, “Well, they’re not running it back. No, they’re bringing I I get it. They’re not bringing back the exact exact roster roster.” But when your core is coming back and your outfield now, Ray, is a combo of Marsh Kemp, Crawford, and Adobe Garcia as your starting outfield. Man, that’s just not good enough.
