we all talk about as Vikings fans where it’s like, “Oh, we need to be patient. We need to let JJ McCarthy develop, but I think the same can be said about our head coach. I’ve been super critical of Kevin Okcono this year, not putting his quarterback in advantageous spots throughout the season. Like what he did to Max Bromer, I thought was crit uh criminal. What he’s been doing to JJ McCarthy, especially early on in the season, just never changing his philosophy, I think he was setting him up for failure, not success. So, you know, we all talk about JJ developing. Well, how about you let your head coach develop? and he has developed like the past two weeks running 13 personnel more than he’s ever has as the Vikings head coach running the football more quick game and quick pass game concepts like at least KOC has kind of noticed the trends in the NFL especially coming from his mentor Shawn McVey and he has been changing his ways over the last couple weeks so hopefully that does continue for the rest of this sees it.

  2. Joe Montana, a national championship qb on a running team, did not start his first year. he didnt start until halfway through his 2nd year. his stats were somewhat pedestrian…..1800 yds 15 td's and 9 int's with 64% completion rate and 87 rating.

    and he was older his 2nd year than JJ is now.

  4. KOC got too in his head that he can take anyone and make them good. Darnold was known to be great talent. Kirk was always capable. Jets was always in motion when he was doing great and I NeVER see him in motion anymore

  8. Develop??? KOC was Coach of the Year last year…he simply wants a pass heavy offense, clearly doesn't work!
    Must have a balance run/pass offense otherwise you will get killed like this year.
    Enough excuses ! this season was a dumpster fire plain & simple…move on.

  10. It doesn't matter if it JJM or Kirk all this Fanbase does is OVERRATE this team. 2022 overrated the team and the Giants exposed that. 2024 overrated the team and Lions/Rams exposed that. This Fanbase overrates and praises this team beating BUMS all Regular Season, just to watch us lose to better Competition in the Playoffs. KOC not that good of a coach and this team is not as good as this Fanbase portrays them. WAY MORE wins against bum teams, than good ones smh

  16. Koc looks like camp counselor of the summer camp…cheer and rah rah rah …remember the first drfence coach came in and did the opposite soft …no blitz like koc had no idea who he hired to ruin his defence..

    Giving up draft picks to move one spot lmfao…just dumb moves …afraid to run the ball ….everything we have done last few years have been a joke

  19. I have been critical of KOC from the start. His second half game is always abysmal, and hate his analytical approach. If the run game is going well he will pass in short yardage key situations. He's killed so many momentum drives with shit play calling, especially early on with Kirk. His time management has been questionable, also.

  20. BULLSHIT‼️HE HAS ENOUGH EXPERIENCE TO KNOW HOW AND WHEN TO ADJUST… THE ONLY WAY THIS GETS HIM A PASS IS BECAUSE HE HASNT HAD ANY REAL TIME WITH EITHER OF THE GUYS THIS YEAR AT QB

  21. Yes, KOC has made good progress the last couple of games as well, but unlike JJ he has more than a few seasons under his belt with not only a lack of progression but flat out regression. I think Flores would make a better head coach at this point. He’s more ballsy and unafraid to make tough decisions. The players all seem to like KOC though. That’s the one big thing he has going for him. He hasn’t lost the locker room……yet.

  22. They both need to take everything they learned from this season and grow and apply to next season. Now if we don’t do much better next season THEN there’s a problem. But I truly think both J.Js , koc and the Vikings will do great next year. Faith & SKOL.
