Taking swing advice from your golf buddies is a lot like taking medical advice from your barber — well-intentioned, but rarely helpful.

While there’s no shortage of great golf tips you can receive from top-rated instructors, sometimes knowing which tips to ignore can be just as important as knowing which ones to follow.

To help cut through the noise, we went straight to the source. This past week, more than 100 of the game’s brightest coaches gathered at Cabot Citrus Farms for GOLF Magazine’s annual teaching summit.
