How the Chargers WIN the WEST #NFL #LosAngelesChargers #ChargersNews #TheDirectorChargers

Oh, the Chargers can win the West. Chargers fans are pretty happy with the month of December, I would say. Three straight wins versus Vegas, Philadelphia, and Kansas City. That’s pretty impressive. Matter of fact, the Chargers are now 5 and 0 in the AFC West with a chance to completely sweep the division with a win over Denver in week 18. Yet, the climb for the Bolts to outright win the West still feels pretty steep and unlikely, but not impossible. Here’s how the Bolts could theoretically usurp the Broncos and take over the division late in the year. That all really starts here in week 16. The Chargers will square up against the Cowboys while the Broncos host the Jaguars. First off, we’d have to take care of business. Yes, the Cowboys are a 67-1 team at this point of the year. But they do have an explosive offense. If the Chargers defense can help put a cap on Dak Prescott, they would improve to 11 and4, which is awesome. but just a start to taking the division. We’d also need the Jaguars to come in clutch versus the Broncos, who I’m going to say look unstoppable right now. But hey, the Jags have shocked a lot of teams this year, including us. Jacksonville is looking pretty hot right now themselves at 10 and4. Let’s say this all shakes down, right? This would improve the Chargers odds to take the West to just under 30%. Not exactly ideal, but it gives us something to work with. Here’s where things do get tough, however. The Chargers would then host the devious Texans in week 17. This game would likely punch their ticket to an AFC West showdown in week 18 or sits them comfortably in a wildcard spot going forward. I got to be honest, this would be a very tough game for the Bolts to manage with their O line looking the way it does. Houston is real scary up front, but in order to take the division, this game would become a mustwin because I don’t see Denver losing to the now Patrick Mahomes list Chiefs. If the Bolts find a way to improve to 12-4, we’d be in store for what would be an epic week 18 showdown in the West. The 12-4 Chargers versus the 13-3 Broncos. Winner takes all. And you know what? We’ve beaten them once before, albeit we were both different versions of ourselves in week two. The Bolts should not be counted out in this one. And if they were somehow to win, the Bolts would tie the record with Denver 13-4. But the Chargers are the ones who hold the tiebreaker in this scenario. Yeah, on the surface it does seem like a lot, but it’s really simple when you take a step back. The Chargers need A to win out and B for the Broncos to lose against the Jags or the Chiefs.

  1. I’m probably one of the few people that don’t buy into the broncos lol they don’t scare me at all. I have no doubt in my mind that we can beat them, the only issue is getting to 12 wins before that week 18 game is just so hard to get to right now! Bolt up baby!

  2. true chiefs really don't have anything to play for but pride, but, would be nice if donkos could lose to both the jags and chiefs. then chargers could lose one game either cowboys or texans. would love week 18 be for the division winnr.

  3. The Chargers could manage the 1st seed in the AFC with that senario.
Chargers win-out (pretty hard to do)
    Jags beat Broncos
    NE to lose to Ravens.
NE, Broncos and Chargers will all be 13-4 (you could add the Jags too at 13-4) but the Chargers would have the Conference record on all the teams, and Broncos on head-to-head.

  4. This is why stupid losses to the giants giving an 0-3 team their first win are so crucial! Now we are really fighting for that top of the division spot!

I hope the 🐆 can beat the broncos 🐎 and the chargers clinch the division in that final game

  5. We will probably lose to the texans their defense is the best in the league and their pass rush is insane and with our oline herbert is gonna get sacked like 10+ times, Herbert and the oline will need to lock in to score pts early so my prediction broncos 14-3 (exceeding my prediction of 13-4) chargers 12-5(meeting my prediction of 12-5 or 13-4)

  6. Did you know even with Alt and Slater, Justin Herbert took the second most sacks in the league in 2024. That is behind the 7th ranked offensive line in the league by PFF grades. He held the ball on average for 2.9 seconds. The offensive line is getting blamed for a Herbert problem.

  7. It all starts versus the Cowgirls ⚡️ I do see us beating them but Houston is gonna be a problem, they will have to defend Herbert to the max. Keep Matlock on offense as a extra TE on offense and as much as Minter doesn't like to blitz on defense, keep a spy on Stroud at all times and blitz when hes under center. Derwin and Henley should be everywhere to confuse him and the Bolts should get the dub based on defense 🌩⚡️🌩⚡️🌩⚡️. Denver wil be a task to handle as well but i feel Minter is the better DC than Vance and puts his players in pivotal roles. Knocking off those 2 teams can mean a lot going forward… BOLT UP ⚡️🌩🌩⚡️🌩⚡️
