  1. I don’t care if it’s lower, higher, or the same. I care if we get good players. Right now, we still haven’t gotten a top of the rotation arm, and we need a big bat to replace Pete. It’s not looking good.

  2. Love you, Uncle Steve. Keep it up.

And shoutout to Alexander Hamilton whose probably turning in his grave with how shitty the Post has become.

  3. Uncle Steve letting us know if there’s a big fish to be caught, this team will reel it in. Maybe Kyle Tucker?

  4. What do I care what the payroll is, higher, lower, just put a winning team together. Obviously keeping the payroll at around 300 mil or more doesn’t mean the team is any good anyway. We can win with a 200 mil payroll if done properly and players perform.

  5. Nah, I think I know better than the billionaire known for ruthless business acumen and not accepting failure from his subordinates

  6. If that were the case, Diaz and Alonso would still be Mets. The details of the contract negotiations go against this statement.

  7. Where are we at payroll wise right now? This post suggests serious spending is on the horizon

  8. Billionaire businessman calls people “idiots” on the bot filled cesspool known as twitter

  9. It’s a good day for Steve to go full scorched earth & put his money where his mouth is 🤓

  10. guys what if he’s getting pissed off because as the teams owner, he has inside information that we’re close to a big deal and knows our payroll will be higher (or at least that’s what I’m going to tell myself)

  11. Spicy Steve! Alright king, go off. Like literally, please go off and sign some fucking pitching.

  12. I like that he posts like a boomer. You don’t see that anymore. Everyone has a zoomer intern posting for them now.

  13. I’m honestly kinda rooting for you guys to just sign everybody. lol fuck it get tucker and imai or something like that 😂
    Shits exciting

  14. What is our current payroll for this upcoming year vs last year?

    Could give us some ideas.

  15. He let Pete Alonso walk. The fans loved him. I think Steve Cohen and David Sterns actually disliked Pete. And they were not willing to pay for diaz. Its these things that make the fans angry. Its not just about total dollars spent.

    Fans and media: **interprets it**

    Steve Cohen: IDIOTS

  17. I loved Cohen for the instant injection of payroll after the dark times… but damn what a weird comment to make. Guy comes off like a man child. I’m kind of sickened by the direction this franchise is going. I’d almost rather go back…
