This Keeps Getting CRAZIER…
This is exactly what we wanted to hear as we have some huge updates to go over today specifically surrounding Kyle Tucker as Ben Nichols and Smith and Shai Deviti have broken the silence surrounding the Jay’s pursuit of the superstar to break down these new reports and discuss what it means going forward. We have some very interesting specifics that have dropped surrounding not only his contract but the Jay’s pursuit. Not only that, we have another Boba update. with the Jays making a sneaky good signing as well as they have signed an absolute fireball pitcher, a fireballer that throws 100 mph. You’re going to want to stay tuned to the very end of this video for all of this and more. But before we get into it, if you’re a part of the percentage who aren’t subscribed to the channel, you guys have been absolute beasts with the support. Folks, let’s dive right into it. A lot to go over today. And of course, the Jays now mean we are approaching Christmas. Happy holidays to everybody or happy early holidays. It’s of course about to be Christmas here in a few days. And we’re hoping for Jays fans that Christmas comes early in the form of a, you know, Kyle Tucker uh situation here. A lot of new updates to go over today, but let’s start with this one here. Now, I briefly covered it in the video yesterday, but there’s been some more updates that dropped late last night into this morning, as well as some signings that have happened around the MLB that have some, you know, impact and implications on the Jays. But Benson Smith had a threeminut, uh, you know, segment here, and he says, this is a Kyle Tucker. The Jays are in a good position. They’re clearly willing to spend. They want to win and they’d be an appealing place for any free agent, especially one that lives in Tampa. Now, this on the surface of course is very good. Um, you know, a very good comment from Ben Nicholson Smith, who’s usually pretty quiet with this stuff and very conservative because he works with Sportsnet, but he actually went on to say, and I watched the entire segment, just to paraphrase a little bit, he went on to essentially say that he doesn’t really see many other teams that are fits for Kyle Tucker. He goes down each team and basically says at this point like the Jays are really and the Dodgers if he wants a shorterterm deal are the only team that is really willing to give him a ton of money and that he sees the Jays in a very very good position to get Tucker. And if you’ve been following, you know, Jay’s free agency this year and in previous years, Ben Nichols Smith doesn’t usually say things like that. He usually, you know, hints at the fact that they might be conservative. Even earlier on in this offseason, he was conservative and skeptical rather of the Jay’s pursuit of Kyle Tucker. So, it’s very important that they um you know that Ben Nickel Smith is saying these things. And then last night, Bob Nightingale went on a Dodgers podcast and went on to say that he doesn’t think Kyle Tucker gets 500 or 400 million that he was projected to get. As well as Tucker’s market has been quiet besides the Blue Jays, Dodgers, and the Yankees. And I really don’t think the Yankees are actually going to go out and get Kyle Tucker. It seems like they’re more zero zeroed in on guys like Cody Bellinger. And all of that to say with all these new reports that keep dropping, we think back to a few days ago, Ben Nichols Smith guesses January for Tucker and Bobette for both of their markets to resolve. Now, that would mean another at least two weeksish of that happening of, you know, these speculation and these rumors hopping down. But Shy within this, and yes, this one’s from a few days ago, but I wanted to include it in case you guys missed it because it went under the radar a little bit with a bunch of other things that were going on. Of course, these other reports are, you know, very very uh, you know, recent, but also Shai mentioned that it’s his understanding that Tucker will be meeting with other interested teams and had met with other interested teams this past week and that his market would proceed from there. So, I mean, you pair the report from yesterday, you pair the reports from this morning from Bob Nightingale last night, all these different things. His market’s going to resolve soon. He’s already met with the team. So, now I pres I presume at least over the next few days here, there’s going to be some big updates surrounding Kyle Tucker. But, it is very important. And I can’t understate this that Ben Nichol Smith is saying these things. And at the end of the day, will he sign with the Jays? I sure hope so. It’s notable that he’s not going to get that 400 million because that leaves, you know, the potential at least for the Jays to sign both Bo and Kyle Tucker if it’s in the 300 millions. There’s also been some rumblings about, you know, Boette signing a short-term contract, which is something that we’re probably going to have a full video on. uh you know, maybe a Alex Bregman type deal where it’s three years. Opt out after the first, opt out after the second, and just kind of see how things go there to keep the cost down. Regardless of all that, let me know down below what your thoughts are. Of course, we all know Kyle Tucker, one of the better outfielders in baseball. One of the best outfielders quite frankly in the game. The he’s a perfect fit for the Jays. Whether you want to go back and talk about, you know, Ross Atkins or John Schneider and Ross Atkins talking about how he would fit perfectly. John Schneider giving details about their meeting, which feels like weeks ago and almost was weeks ago, you know, it was weeks ago. Now, at this point, they had the first meeting. The rest of them happened this week now that the week is officially I mean, I’m assuming there could be one more today. Of course, it’s Friday, but things are going to start to come to fruition now. And John Marose said a few days ago that in the next 48 to 72 hours, that was Wednesday or Tuesday, that things are going to start to pick up there. So, it is an exciting time to be a Jays fan, but at the same time, we got to remain cautiously optimistic or, you know, some of you, I’m sure, are going to be cautiously pessimistic and then hope to be, you know, overwhelmed and in a positive manner, right? Overd deliver if you’re Ross Atkins and you can get the Jays a big free agent. Let me know down below what your thoughts are on all of these things. Again, BNS Benle Smith guesses January for Tucker and Bashette. Then, Shai mentions basically the same thing and uh it’s going to be exciting there. And then of course if they sign Tucker, we’ll dive into all the whatifs and things like that. But speaking of things that you know are very encouraging, the Jays, they made a signing. Now this one is interesting and this happened late last or not late last night, it happened yesterday evening and they’ve been making a few minor league signings and I’ll touch on them briefly, but this is a guy I kind of want to focus on for a minute because it is a uh it’s an interesting one. So you can see here source right now pitcher Jorge Alcala, I believe that’s how you pronounce it. I could be wrong on that, but correct me down below if I am. Has agreed to a minor league deal with the Blue Jays with a spring training invite. You might look at that and say, “Okay, it’s not a major league deal. It’s a minor league deal.” He throws hard. He throws 97 miles per hour and he’s touched 100 and he had a 10 strikeouts per nine last season. He also had a 4.9 walks per nine, which is high, and a 2.1 home runs per nine across three different MLB teams and 55 innings. Folks, this is a guy who pitched 55 innings last season. You can see here, 56 games for 55 innings, a 6.2 22 RA. But ladies and gentlemen, this is a ye a guy who’s a year removed from a 3.24 RA with the Twins, put up a 1.4 war and good for a uh you know 54 58 innings. This is a very very good signing. And of course to be able to get a guy like this on a minor league deal is unbelievably encouraging. And he touched 100 I believe. Yeah, you can see here he touched 100 with the Twins back in 2024, his breakout year, if you want to, you know, mention that or if you want to call it a breakout year. And he had a bad year last year. But the Jays have been historically good at taking guys like this. And I mean, for one, anytime the Jays sign, a fireballer, you know, in air quotations, a guy who actually throws fast, I’m all for it. Their bullpen in the past had been obviously much less than that. It’s been a little bit, not sad necessarily, but it hasn’t been quite as good as a lot of us may have wanted in the velocity department and just in general. I mean, we think back to the Raphael Deise days. I don’t even want to bring those back. Not going to bring back bad memories. But to be able to get guys like this on no risk contract, someone who can, if he comes to spring training and has a really good spring training, easily make the team, right? Has decent strikeout numbers, has really good velocity, why not, right? Why not go for it? And again, he had a horrible year. He pitched with the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals. Had a pretty good stretch there for the Boston Red Sox. You can see a 3.31 RA in 19 games and finished seven games. But of course that was sandwiched between and maybe the stories the the numbers are if you’re a Red Sox fan watching this for whatever reason let me know down below if he actually was good because he has a negative war. So maybe the numbers were a little bit deflated as it pertains to him actually being a good pitcher. But regardless he finished the year horrible. He’s a year removed from being a solid reliever and you can think back to 2021. He’s had multiple years of being a great good reliever even in 2020 in the co shorten season. So I’m all for it. I’m all for little moves like this. And they of course got Tyler Rogers whose contract looks great. And yesterday night, Michael King signed a threeyear deal. And it wasn’t that crazy. It was $75 million. So if the Jays hadn’t gotten Dylan CE, I think they would have gotten Michael King just because of the fact that um again 3 years 75 would have been a good deal for the uh for the Jays at that point, but they obviously don’t need him now. They have Dylan Cease. Let me know down below your thoughts are on this and of course the uh the signing of this new pitcher. you don’t I mean I don’t hate it at all. Then a couple other things here on Bobette before I wrap up here. You can see here it seems like he’s leaning towards the uh you know the Jays but the Red Sox are in the woodwork. So we’ll have another video covering that. You can see this here from West from a new report from Robert Murray late last night. The Blue Jays sign uh if the Blue Jays sign Tucker it really feels like Bett is a Red Sox an underrated fun team if they sign Bette would be the Pirates. So a lot of teams there. Of course, you can see from Robert Murray’s report, it’s he names the Red Sox, he names the Pirates, and of course, the Jays at the forefront. I’m all in the Jays getting both. If they can’t get both, I’m fine with them getting Tucker. I’m fine with them getting Bo. If they get Tucker and then Bo goes to the Red Sox, that’ll be a bit of a harder pill to swallow. But Bo’s a beast. Scott Tucker’s a beast, and you guys are beast for the support. Thank you guys for watching. Seller.
Nick Gosse breaks down how a new report has revealed exactly what we wanted to hear surrounding Kyle Tucker and discuss the Jays signing a new fireball pitcher.

I think Tucker will sign before Christmas. Hopefully to the Jays but we'll see.
Tucker is a 266 ba less RBIs ALMOST THAN MARTE
ON LESS INNINGS
Let HIM GO. Get an OUTFIELDER
AT THE COLLEGE DRAFT ROUND 1-3. ANYONE CAN HIT THAT GOOD.. .275 UP
I would much prefer Ballinger at his price more of a home run threat, which they also need, but he is also very good defensively in four different positions and plays four different positions and probably half the price of Tucker which means being able to go out and still sign bowl if he wants to come back For a reasonable price and still have some money to sign a closer a legitimate closer.
Bo just Encarnacioned himself. Jays are likely moving on. Word is that Bo wants 50M more than the highest projections we've heard.
🔥🔥🔥 HOT STOVE BREAKING NEWS 🔥🔥🔥
Ross Atkins dives into dumpster, finds flamethrowing JAG.
The pitcher registered 102 mph with an average 4 seam of 97.5 mph. He does have command issues, but if there is anyone capable of fixing it, it's Pete Walker. Robbie Ray had terrible command issues and Walker turned him into a Cy Young winner.
If the Jays don't sign Bo they are really going to resent it for years to come !
You mean merry Christmas
I am afraid of a loss-loss scenario, no Tucker no Bo.
Tucker, Varsho and Barger in the outfield would be fierce. Collective DRS of +23.
Why not have incentives that pay more if you perform more 🤔. You get a base multi million contract with rewards for higher scoring 😉.
Cody Ponce said he will start or relieve, whatever the Jays want him to do. So now you can count on Ponce NOT to be a starter, but just another BP piece for 37 mil. Now that leaves the Jays down to only 8 starting pitchers going into 26. Jose Berrios said he sucked last year because of a problem with his elbow and bicep. And that he is healthy now, so I guess you can put Berrios back into the starting 5, and move Ponce into the BP.
I wish everyone on this channel all the best for 2026.
I'm tired of the all the talk of over – promoted Tucker! Just resign Bo and get more pitching !!!!
