It’s FINALLY Happening… Multiple EXCITING Wild Updates | Minnesota Wild News

The Minnesota Wilds have dropped multiple exciting updates as the injury bug is very close to exiting this Minnesota Wild team. We’re going to be breaking it down, going over one more injury that did occur in last game and we have an update from that as well as John Hines speaking out on Quinn Hughes and what to expect from him after playing the highest total time on ice in a game in his career. We have a lot to break down here today, ladies and gentlemen, with a lot of stuff coming over these next few days, including multiple very important games. You will not want to miss what we have here on the channel. So, if you haven’t already, be sure to hit that sub button. It’s 100% free to do so. But let’s jump straight into this. Now, going over today, we were expecting some moves to be made by this Minnesota Wild team, and that was indeed the case. Starting out this morning, Michael Russo tweeted this out courtesy of or excuse me, from the Minnesota Wild. Nicobella and David Space check were both reassigned to the Iowa Wild. He’s curious if there could be more impressions I got yesterday. Is the Wild expect a number of players back this weekend. Now, having this come out earlier today, you know, around noon time, Newfoundland time, of course, so much earlier in the morning in Minnesota, this team had a few moves to be made. Now, a little while ago as well, Joe Smith dropped this update. Multiple more moves have been made. Ben Jones and Carson Lambos have both been sent back down to Iowa. A incredibly good sign for players who are coming back tomorrow. And in a game against the Edmonton Oilers, like we said, we really needed to see this lineup get even the slightest bit healthier to get some help for not just this game, but over these next few games until the holiday break. and especially against the Colorado Avalanche. Now, with who we’ve had out the past couple of games, I’m looking specifically at who was out um you know, going last game, multiple names that were involved here. Damon Hunt being one who did not play. Zack Begoian, Jonas Baddin, Matt Zugerelloo, you know, I could go on and on and on. You’re really starting to see this Minnesota Wild team, that injury kind of uh situation that they’re dealing with catch up to them. You’re really starting to see last game what it felt like. A lot of players getting gassed, a lot of players starting to feel tired. And getting these guys back is going to be a huge thing where you don’t need to have a guy like Quinn Hughes playing 32 minutes, a guy like Brock Faber playing 30. you don’t need to rely on specific set of players when you know that they’re playing at a much higher rate than what they should or normally do play. So very very good signs coming out of this especially with what we’re looking at over this weekend. Now Hines did say this Gojian Hunt are out. They will not be back just yet. The rest of the injury guys are questionable but not ruled out for tomorrow. So that means Zukarelloo, Middleton, Broaddin, Johansson, Hinestroza are in the mix for the weekend. Hunt is week to week, but Gojan is day to day. So finally, finally, finally some very good news for this Minnesota Wild team on the injury front. Feels like we haven’t had that in some time now. But it is okay that Damon Hunt and Zach Bego are out. Damon Hunt certainly sucks to see after that knee on knee getting the opportunity to come in after being the seventh defenseman for majority of the season. Zack Bego dayto-day feel like they want to give him that extra little bit due to his age and of course how important he’s been to this team. But with that now you’re going to have your lineup nearly back to what it was. Having Ben Jones sent down and of course a few more players letting these guys on the offense get back in going to be important to get Zukarelloo Hostrosa back in. and Marcus Johansson, especially on the defense. It’s going to be very nice to see two more left-handed defenseman. Your actual first set or first time, excuse me, you’re going to see your one, two, and three in this lineup. And having Quinn Hughes, Jared, um, excuse me, Jacob Middleton, and also Jonas Prod. You’re finally going to get to see what this Wild team can do when fully healthy. And I’m excited to see it. you know, we haven’t seen this team yet fully healthy in a long time, but especially since Quinn Hughes was acquired by the team, and it’s going to be tough for him to kind of get into the rhythm when you don’t have your regulars playing. So, it may take a little bit longer, but now that these guys are back, hopefully we’re going to see uh Quinn Hughes get into this kind of organization scheme quicker than what it would be if these guys had still been out for a little while. Now, we do have a few more updates on this, but I want to know before we kind of jump into the rest. What you guys think about these injuries and how this may change the lineup because I really don’t think we’re going to see a line change from Charian Denilov, Vladimir Terasenko. I wonder what else is going to happen on that front. But Gustoson is starting tomorrow versus the Oilers. Given Walstead on Sunday versus the Avalanche, I really like this decision by John Hines. giving Gustoson here not having a backto-back. You’re going to keep Gustoson warm, you’re gonna get Walstead ready for the game against the Avalanche. Feel like Walstead, especially last game when he did keep that Wild team in against Columbus. It really showed that once again, he is ready for these big moments. So, no better test than this big game that they’re going to have on Sunday. But ahead of this game, you’re going to need your top guys back. It wouldn’t surprise me though, like I said, if they do not bring a lot of these guys back. were all of them against the Oilers. If there is someone that seems to be ready, but there even is the slightest bit of doubt. Wouldn’t surprise me if John Hines waits until the game against Colorado. A game which is going to have a bit more importance than the one against the Edmonton Oilers. Although you really cannot take any game uh you know at a lesser extent here at this point in the season especially where the Wild are still third place in the Central and trying to fight past Dallas and eventually hopefully Colorado. So let me know what you think about that as well. And I mean going into the schedule it’s going to be some important games Saturday and Sunday you get the afternoon game against Edmonton. Get enough time to get uh you know ready for the Colorado game and ultimately Nashville on Tuesday as well. still a game which you should win but you really cannot take easy. Now with all of that as well we do have a few updates from Johns and this is kind of talking about what Quinn Hughes did in last game which was not his greatest game. Let’s not forget that but playing 32 minutes with a brand new team. I wouldn’t expect him to go out and be what we know Quinn Hughes will be when he does get used to this team. But John Hines uh you know really came out and gave us the important part of why this is not going to be something we see every day and that’s the highest of his career 32 minutes time on ice and the highest total by an NHL player in nonovertime game this season. So a huge shout out to Quinn Hughes here playing 32 minutes with the Wild on you know what is your third game with this team. Still not used to it. Of course you saw that last game. It was pretty evident that he didn’t fully understand the system just yet, but we also saw the shades of what he will do when he does. Now, going into this, John Hines said the circumstance in the game situations dictated that ice time for Quinn Hughes. Having three regular defenseman injured is not an easy feat. So, I mean, kind of giving that idea makes a lot of sense when you’re looking at it, but he also says it won’t be the mo. Hines said typically he uses in for 24 to 26 minute range. But it’s good to know that he has in the well what he has excuse me in the tank. Especially for games, let’s just say against Colorado where you may need to see him once again go 30 even with a fully healthy lineup. You want your best guys out there to give you the best chance of winning. And John Hines has been very clear with that and very evident what his plan is with this team. So ladies and gentlemen, let me know what you think about these updates here today. Finally, finally, finally, some good news on the injury side of things. Hopefully, we get these guys back and healthy and hopefully we see no more injuries. But, let me know what you think about all this in the comments below. And like I said, what you guys think the lineup may look like heading into tomorrow’s game. I’ll be answering a bunch of comments down below, so let me know what you think. But, it’s all I got here in this video. If you did enjoy, give it a like. Hit the sub button as well. I’m signing out, though. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a great day. See you later.
