If there’s no retention, this is an absolutely fantastic deal
With retention? I would have liked to at least get a prospect back since we would be using one of our slots with multiple, more valuable players potentially needing to use those retention slots to get a good deal done
What years for the picks though???

And does this mean we’re finally getting more time on the ice for younger players?!?

Can I upvote multiple times? I was hoping for net front presence and all we got from Marchment were silly dangles in the middle of the O-zone. This was a bad fit, not sad to see him go. Best wishes in Columbus !
Hopefully this is the beginning of clearing house of vets so the young guys can get proper opportunities to develop

God, I know this trade is probably a win for us, but it’s so fucking deflating being excited about player acquisitions for this team only to learn that they’re being traded away the next year. Sigh
