It doesn't matter "what was he supposed to do to avoid the hit." He did it. Intentional or not. It's a penalty & he looked like he was intending to injure everyone on every play. He deserves to be ejected & fined/suspended. I was appalled by how aggressive he was playing even before this hit. The refs should have given him a private warning here. This ain't 1970s football. You can't play that way today.
Clean hit with no head to head connection. Sorry but he should be cleared of any fines because this was a textbook hit. Completely legal.
