Did Andrew Berry find a HIDDEN GEM in the NFL Draft in Isaiah Bond?

The Cleveland Browns may have done it again, and this time the spotlight is on Andrew Berry and rookie wide receiver Isaiah Bond. When the Browns made the pick, it didn’t come with fireworks or national buzz, but that’s usually when Cleveland does its best work. The question now is whether Berry quietly uncovered another hidden gem that fits exactly what this roster needs moving forward.

This clip breaks down why Isaiah Bond’s skill set makes him intriguing in the Browns’ offense and what traits stand out beyond the box score. Speed, separation, versatility, and how a player fits into situational football all matter more than draft slot — especially in Cleveland’s system. Berry’s track record suggests the front office values projection, development, and role clarity, and Bond checks several of those boxes if used correctly.

So here’s the debate for the Dawg Pound: did Andrew Berry strike gold again, or are we getting ahead of ourselves with another “steal of the draft” conversation? Can Isaiah Bond carve out a real role and outperform expectations, or does he need the right circumstances to shine? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let’s talk about whether this pick is another quiet win for the Browns’ front office.

  1. Cleveland has been so bad or so long these guys are starved. So starved that when you have some success it is never enough for the time being. How did we know Bond before Shedeur? He was the guy that Gabriel drilled in the head on a slant. I'm a Raiders fan so we have had our problems too, but we don't whine as much as Browns fans.

  2. This draft was pretty exceptional. Bond will be legit. Judkins can be legit, Carson is legit. We also got a cheap backup QB in Gabriel. Mason undecided. If we can trade off Sanders for a large pizza we are in decent shape

  3. What's funny about the non football players on the UCSS panel they give the browns so much crap for not being able to evaluate talent but they are even worse. Lmfao it's laughable… They are so quick to call someone "trash" or "they stink" but do not have the ability to objectively look at a player and his value AT ALL… G Bush and Tyvis I feel bad u have to be up there wit these dumb dumbs but not really bcuz they pay you. But not nearly enough.. Imma pray for u GBush. Honestly, they need to incorporate film session segments where the former players teach Jay, Jason and bull about football bcuz they are mostly clueless.

  4. Notice when Dillion was in Bond was non existent. The difference Sheduer is throwing him the ball. They’re not using Bond ENOUGH! Because the coaching and scheme is mid!!

  5. When GB was the starter they said IB was not an NFL player. Now Shedeur is the QB IB is a hidden gem. Meanwhile they give Shedeur zero credit. Shedeur has done this every where he has been, he elevates all around him.

  6. Don’t give Berry credit for Bond but yes, Berry hands out checks to every WR possible to cover up the past failure, bad contract again but good player

  7. Wow. You guys should go back and watch Isaiah Bond's college highlights. He fell out of the draft because of an off field issue that I believe was settled after the draft. Without that issue he would have been possibly a day 1 or 2 pick.

  8. The Browns have the very best overall rookie draft class in the entire league this year, bar none! Berry has done an excellent job with these selections from top to bottom.

  9. These analyst are tone deaf. GBush keeps them honest. The one analyst that brought up Shedeur EPA. What he didn’t say is he is qb with the the right plays a few long ball and his EpA will move up 5-10 slots. This analyst has to be careful in what he says because I’m starting to believe they are part of the media that’s bringing a narrative of half truths He didn’t mention who is in 43 place. He didn’t mention that the difference in EPA between the last qb is marginal. I wonder what his narrative will be if Shedeur plays a decent 3 games. Stefanski is hurting Shedeur with his play calling and putting players that need to decide if they want to play in the NFL.

  10. If he could be a number 3, a slot, who can also take the top off the defense, then that's a legitimate piece we can go forward with. Given that he's a rookie, and we probably need two new starting guys on the outside, let's hope we have at least one legitimate building block in the room.
