They are trading Shane Baz to division rival Baltimore Orioles. The starting pitcher was touted as the major potential trade ship in a Catel Marte trade for the Tampa Bay Rays. They are also in the process, not completed yet, but there are reports that they’re in the process of trading away Brandon Low, Lao, I don’t know, the names get mixed up um out out of the team as well. So, two things. One, it directly affects your division rival Orioles who are continuing to get better, but two, does this take the raise out of the Catel Mart sweep stakes, giving the Red Sox maybe a little bit, just a little bit of negotiating power at the end of the day.
