CJ has been playing at a great level and no one has been talking about it.
I’m not fully convinced we are fully turned around but I’m liking we are functioning again. Just hoping we can keep tuning it up to close the regular season
I feel we need a slightly longer timeframe before we start declaring a “turnaround”.
Gonna sound like negative Nancy here but maybe we just played better defenses earlier? Rams, Seahawks, Broncos defense give teams hell no matter who plays them. And we lost close each time (even the Seattle game it was technically by one score). We tear into teams with bad defenses (early Ravens, Cards) but can’t do the same against good ones. The OL seems a little better than start of season and our rookies are more experienced but the overall crux of the offense still seems to be chip it out with field goals, get one or two TDs when we’re lucky, and count on defense to get turnovers and good stops against competent teams. I mean it works so no complaints there.
