  1. The other alternative to Tua is McDaniels knows he’s been coaching for his job, so he’s benching Tua to strike some lightning in a bottle with a new QB to show Tua was the problem.

  2. Not making excuses for Tua. He is injury prone. They are playing for nothing. Bench Tua and see what you have coming off the bench. Tua gets to heal up and reflect on what is import for Tua.

    Below average awareness
    Below average anticipation
    Below average command
    Below average health

    Can't play in cold weather
    Can't play in windy conditions

    Above average snitching
    Above average deflecting

  4. "Miami" wants to explore its options…" No, now that they're out of the playoffs, they want to as much as they can get away with to drop in the standings and get better picks.

  5. Dolphins offense is like a razor sharp very brittle knife. A sharp enough rough duty camp knife is what makes it through a full season and then much more difficult post season to championship weekend and hopefully then the big show. Dophins need to fully move on to a sustainable system. Making that move keeping Tua would have made far more sense in the long run even if it took all next year to fully transition systems with a new coach. Of course making smart long term decisions is not exactly what Miam is known for…
