🚨BREAKING🚨: Orioles Trade For Shane Baz #mlb #baseball #shorts

Couldn’t have waited two more days. Baseball doesn’t sleep. Uh Shane Baz traded from the Rays to the Orioles and the Orioles gave up a hall of prospects. A lot of the guys just drafted in the last year. Um first off, I’ll talk about Shane Baz here for a second because people want to know more about him. Uh Shane Baz in 2021, I faced him in Triple A. He was on the Durham Bulls. I was on the Norfol Tides. And I remember watching this guy and going like, damn, this guy has it. He is talented. the upside was undeniable. Now, he’s dealt with a lot of injuries. The numbers don’t look as great coming back from TJ. Uh, but he’s a guy with upside and control, and if he can get back to that form, Baltimore is going to get a stud. Now, that’s a lot of ifs, but that’s that’s the upside of Shane Baz. Like, the dude has it. Now, on the other side, the Rays are so damn good at identifying talent, and no doubt they identified some great talent. uh get these prospects. Uh and seeing Slater on that list like you know they loved him coming out of the draft and the Orioles obviously take him. Um the Rays the Rays do this better than anybody and I’m not going to be surprised if two or three of those guys turn out to be studs for the Rays moving forward. Helps the Orioles. Uh and are the Orioles done making moves? I don’t think so. I still think they’re going to sign one more guy and that’s all I got. I’ll talk about it more later. Uh, but can we just wait until like Monday to talk about this?

This organization is destined to be a small market team forever. Until there’s a salary cap, the Baltimore Orioles will never be anything other than a place for superstars to come to be trained before they go onto the real teams.

  2. So the O’s give up a bunch of prospects (to a division rival) in exchange for a big bag of “ifs” and “maybes.”

    [sigh…]

I had hoped the Alonso signing was an indication that they were changing their ways. I guess watching nerve wracking gambles on reclamation projects is just part of being an Orioles fan.
