It’s definitely better to hear him say this rather than the alternative, but ultimately he hasn’t really said much here.
This makes sense from everything we’ve been hearing out of the offseason and the Jays intentions. Coming from Jeff Passan makes it all the more promising. And saying it in front of Kay makes it even better
