Justin Herbert And The Los Angeles Chargers END The Kansas City Chiefs | NFL POSTGAME REACTION

So Justin Herbert and the San Diego Los Angeles Chargers essentially just ended the Kansas City Chiefs. It’s unfortunate Patrick Mahomes got injured at the very end. Um he did not play particularly well. That interception uh was devastating. They were in a position where they could have at least tied it up and then who knows threw a bad pick. Um, you know, I mean, that’s kind of the Kansas City Chiefs season in a nutshell. They weren’t good enough. Um, in the beginning of the season, don’t blame Patrick Mahomes. Then when they are finally a little bit healthier, ready to go, Mahomes couldn’t make the plays when needed to be. Um, and and then at that point now, this point of the season, nobody’s making plays. Not Momes, not Kelsey, not Pacheco, not Kareem. I mean, like, nobody. um and win a weird ugly 1613 game. Uh I wonder if Mahomes will even play the rest of the season. Now, a lot of Chiefs fans were pretty much kind of being like, “We hope we just lose out. We just want to keep losing at this point because then we can um uh get a better draft pick and and whatnot. And now you might get your hopes.” Uh, obviously I’m filming this as soon as the game ended, so I don’t really know what what the story is with Mahomes, how badly he’s injured, if he ended up being fine right after. Um, but uh, yeah, I mean, this was a tough, gritty win. Uh, the Chargers, Justin Herbert made some unbelievable I like how in the uh, in this game you hear I forget his name right now, but he was just like, “THAT WAS MOMES.” LIKE HE made a throw like Momes made. And it’s just like, what do you It’s Justin Herbert. He’s his own man. He’s his own player. He’s his own quarterback. My god, we live in such a cartoon world. Let Justin Herbert make his own great play, his own great throws. Just it’s so ridiculous. It’s so It’s just It’s so ridiculous. But that huge throw um that Herbert made uh that then you know led to the touchdown the the I think it was the very next play afterwards uh just gorgeous just gorgeous execution this one right here the 37 yard pass um which you were like is it a catch is it not a catch and then the 16 yard touchdown pass I mean this was obviously such a key part of the game scores 13-3 and you’re like, “All right, we, you know, you need points here. You need to, you need to start making you feel like you’re up there.” Um 13-10 and then obviously Casey was not able to do anything else for the rest of the game. Um that interception was absolutely devastating. They were in a position, they were at the Chargers 17. Um you know, they’re they’re they’re they’re in a spot to at the very least obviously kick a field goal. Shout out to Henley making that catch like he like they said on the broadcast that was like the best catch of the uh best catch of the game. Uh except he wasn’t a receiver so too bad. But yeah, you know, this was this was a tough, gritty, ugly game. Um I mean Justin Herbert was sacked four times but somehow only lost nine yards, right? Like that’s all that’s it’s like how’d that happen? Um, and you know, the run game wasn’t anything crazy. 29 carries for 94 yards, right? You’d certainly like it a lot better. Zero touchdowns, but it was there when need be. When there was any type of momentum shifts, when there was a big play or big throw or or kind of like an incompletion where you’re kind of starting to get a little antsy, the run game was at least there to be like, we can keep the momentum going or we can kind of recapture some momentum going, right? we can we can get it to third and four or second and seven. Like it it wasn’t just constantly a liability. And that to me is always the bare minimum for a run game. Not every run game are you going to be able to just go off, you know, 25 for 140 yards or something and two rushing touchdowns, but is it a liability? Is are do you have the sense of oh my gosh, we we can’t even remotely use the run game here and I you never really had that happen. There was a couple really key physical tough runs by Hampton, Vidal, like at just important moments of the game, even if just to kind of just again maintain balance in in the game, right? Just to not feel like, uh-oh, the winds are shifting, the momentum is shifting. You’re starting to get a little antsy. Everyone’s starting to get a little tight. You’re starting to feel that maybe there’s too much now on the shoulders of Justin Herbert in the passing game, etc., etc. And again, you know, the defense did obviously everything it needed. you you held them to 13 points. So, uh, the defense did everything they they needed to do. Held the Kansas City Chiefs 21 carries for 49 yards. Gave up the one touchdown run to Mahomes, obviously. Um, but pretty much made their run game non-existent and a liability. You know, essentially the opposite of what I was just saying about the Chargers. And you could feel it. You could sense it. It was damaging. Pacheco 11 carries for 21 yards, 1.9 yards per carry. and seven of those yards came from, you know, from one run there, right? So, so essentially 10 carries on 14 uh for 14 yards. You do that, you’re you’re you’re going to win some games, right? You’re you’re you’re doing pretty well. Uh and so never gave up any big true big plays. Um you know, a couple throws to to Worthy and whatnot, but like besides that, nothing too crazy. No big run that gashed you. Uh no huge throw that really was just like, “Oh man, now the whole field is open to the Chiefs. Just took away everything that they needed to take away.” You know, it’s it’s it’s sometimes games are just really kind of that straightforward. Um and, you know, wasn’t flawless offensively for the for the Chargers, but I mean, I just think considering the conditions, considering this the way how the game was unfolding, it’s a it’s it’s a it’s all you could ask for. It’s all you could ask for. Um, so I think the Chiefs are officially done. I know there was like the scenario where it was like they need the Jags. The Jags the they need to lose. The Jags win, the Texans win. And I don’t know if there was like any other situation there, like if it had anything to do. I don’t know. I I I I thought that was it. So, I’m pretty sure the Chiefs now are just not in the playoffs. I think they’re just officially eliminated. And um it’ll be interesting to see what they do here now. Um now because they’re in a position they could lose to the Broncos again, especially if you got Gardenner Mchu in there now. Um I forget who else they play now. I think the Titans if memory serves me correctly. Um and I I I forget, but um you know, this could end up being great for them now. They could end up getting like a top 10 pick maybe even. And then they got top 10 pick in every single round moving forward, you know, first round, second round, third round, and beyond. then they could rebuild this puppy in in in a snap of the fingers. So, uh this might end up actually working well uh for the Chiefs. This might have been you lost the battle but not the war type of situation. So, we’ll see how the rest of the season unfolds. We’ll see if Momes will be good enough to play. Like I said, I’m obviously recording this. I have no other information on Mahomes. Don’t know if he just kind of tweaked it and now he’s kind of like, “All right, I’m fine.” or if it’s just like, “No, this is you’re you’re shut down now for the rest of the season.” Um, I’m sure they’ll I’m sure they’ll probably shut him down for the rest of the season, even if he is fine because I think the Chiefs would like to lose at this point. You know, they’re they’re not dumb and they now they have an excuse. Yeah, Mahomes, he’s banged up. He’s done. Game season over. We can just keep losing now with Garner Mchu and uh, you know, try to get some uh some good draft picks here. But uh, we’ll see. We’ll see. But those are just my thoughts. I’d absolutely love to hear yours. What do you guys all think about Justin Herbert and the San Diego Los Angeles Chargers taking down the Kansas City Chiefs and ending their season? 1. I saw this ACL injury coming, Andy Reid offense just doesn't work anymore, no one is ever open Patrick has been scrambling for his life just to buy time until someone finally comes open

  2. Andy Reid is either too stubborn and or too arrogant to switch up his offensive philosophy. All 31 teams primarily plays the same 2 high safety shell defense
rush 4 drop 7 in coverage
or rush 3 + QB spy same 7 in coverage

  3. Andy just wasted a very good WR group
Andy reid uses his WRs as pass runners
    instead of ROUTE RUNNERS.
Andy system is for WRs to run to an area
instead of run to get open in zone coverage. Patrick Mahomes needs a Young Offensive HC

  4. I'm sure the NFL COMMUNITY are celebrating chiefs season, on some clandestine Social media platform. NFL been fighting to restore the W-QB starting with 2024 MVPity award to josh allen

  5. Well them chiefs are not verry good after all the last 5 yrs of the nfl and nfl refs kissed thier butts and the offensive line had to step up for the chiefs and did not but the chargers offensive line played well after being beaten up and played to keep herbert up right and win

  6. So,what are you two idiots qualifications and or resume to know more about football than established professionals?I'M WAITING?Just as i thought. You have nothing!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
