John Klingberg seems to have found a new gear in San Jose.
when he was in his prime there in Dallas, there he was and it there’s a lot of defenseman now. I mean, I this position has exploded where you’re seeing more and more of this, but John Clingberg was the best lateral blue line mover on the offensive blue line. The way he would open up his hips, he always had his his shoulder square. Um, he had a big shot. Like, he was so fun. Then he had those he had hip injuries and it kind of takes a little while to kind of get back to to where his game is. And um even even in the playoffs last year in Edmonton like he had a he had some stretches there. I’m like oh like John Clingberg stepped up in a big moment and made some big plays. You start seeing it and and I don’t know I want to look into it a little bit more. I was talking to Jason Demurs the other day and he kind of brought up a point on I he talked about something with mental health and how he’s gotten to a better place mentally and so the physical, the mental, all that starting to come together and in an exciting place in San Jose the way they they they play stylistically. So, uh, yeah, I love watching it with Clingberg, but you’re right, he has been an absolute force for the Sharks in the last number of weeks.
