What will James Karinchak bring for Atlanta?
I think uh he may not start the year in the pin, but I think before the year is out, we very well may see James Kerinchack in the Braves bullpen. Here’s what Alexopoulos had to say about James Keranch. Alex, uh, one signing that kind of went a little under the radar, the James Kerchack signing. Uh, if you could just speak to what kind of upside you see there. Obviously a guy that’s battled some injuries over the past few years, but when he was in his prime, really solid. If you could just speak to the development he’s had and obviously the upside. Look, his velocity is coming back and look, he’s very successful at the big league level and it’s a minor league deal. He’s got options left and you know, those are guys you see it all all the time. You see guys that had been successful in the past might a year or two or three off and all of a sudden they come back and they bounce back. We see that especially in in the bullpen, right? You see that all over the place. So, um guys that have had success in the past will definitely be guys that we earmark a little bit and spend a little more time on. It doesn’t mean they’re all going to pan out. Um, but he’s still young and when the stuff comes back, uh, there’s so many examples. You look yearly at guys that emerge and then have been, I’d say out of baseball, but just out of outside the big league level for a few years and then finally bounce back. So excited to see how he looks when he comes to
