Angry Commanders Fan Reacts To Loss + Massive Fight VS Eagles.

Yo, what is up guys? This is Pedro here. So, the Washington Commanders lose an ugly game 29-18, fall to 4-1 on the season. Just all facets of the game. It wasn’t pretty. A lot of injuries, some, you know, a massive fight and, you know, just not good football by the Washington Commander. So, let’s talk about it in today’s video. If you guys are new, make sure to subscribe, hit that like button, and that notification bell as well. We’ve been at 16,000 subscribers for a while. Not even at 16,500. So, let’s get there hopefully before the end of the year. It’s going to, you know, be tough, but we can do it. But let’s talk about this game, man. I mean, I wasn’t expecting us to win it. Some people were predicting it, but um, you know, they actually were pretty good in this game early on, the first half of the game. I mean, they go up into halftime at, you know, 10-7 and even through the third quarter. I mean, what, 10 to 14, so it was a close game. Not sure exactly when Mariota got hurt. I think it was like late in that third quarter. unfortunate, but it is what it is. He wasn’t playing great. He wasn’t awful. Josh Johnson was awful. He needs to hang it up, man. Five for nine, 43 yards. That interception, I mean, that’s as bad as it gets, you know, throwing it to the sideline and it looked like maybe not a I don’t know. I at that point, I didn’t really even care, but it’s just like you want to see your offense be run at at least a high school level. And uh with Josh Johnson, I’m not sure really it was until that like last drive where they’re they’re not really trying. And it’s just unfortunate cuz a lot of our receivers and stuff aren’t getting the work they need to get and the play the level of quarterback play they need to really produce with, you know, even with Mario a little bit, but not really. But mostly obviously with Josh Johnson. I don’t know why this this is a tangent for another day, but we’ll talk about a little bit. I don’t know why they even kept him on the roster this year. Like I think they could have just stuck it out at two QBs. Obviously they had injuries and then you could bring people in. But Josh Johnson doesn’t des you know he I’m not going to say he doesn’t do deserve but he’s not good enough to be you know NFL quarterback on a roster at this point. You I you know I know Sam Hartman was awful but I’d rather have him out there. At least he’s young and maybe he can show something but um it is what it is. But Josh Johnson was awful. Chris Rodriguez was fine. 15 for 63 four yards carry a touchdown. Bill was fine. Uh that that fight at the end was just ridiculous. I mean the Eagles I mean they know how to they they obviously know how to stir things up and uh Nick Seriani goes for two for absolutely no reason and the fight starts number 80 Cooper was just you know doing a little bit too much with the block and I forgot who he was even blocking. I know Kinlaw uh Quan Martin those guys somehow those guys got uh thrown out. I don’t know how Kinlaw got thrown out. I know Quan Martin was, you know, was kind of in there and uh what’s his name? Tyler Steen was the one who was doing a lot I think. Yeah. And Mikey Sanders was in there. Wasn’t getting, you know, anything. Fin wasn’t, you know, didn’t get called for penalty. So interesting there. That was a huge fight. One of the biggest fights I’ve seen in a while. Philly Washington, you know, it has, you know, hasn’t really been competitive in a, you know, for a while. I mean, last year it was one G. I mean, both games were kind of all kinds of updates. Uh, last game, sorry, last year was somewhat competitive until the playoffs, but, uh, there’s always, you know, bad blood between these two teams. It’s a division rivalry, you know, but especially these two teams. I feel like there’s been a lot more fights between these two teams than, you know, any other teams. I mean, we remember Deaser Everett hitting uh Darren Sprouls on the punt return. I forgot what year that was. My guess like 2016, 2017ish. Uh, seems about right there. And then you had the, you know, Nick Fos and Chris Baker and, uh, Trent Williams getting fake ejected and then Jason Peters, I believe, in there. That was before that as well. But, uh, just a lot of, you know, bad blood between these two teams and it makes sense, uh, division rivals. But, uh, I’m hoping next year we can be a lot more competitive than we were this year because, you know, this year, not only the team was bad, the injuries, it just it was just a nightmare this year this uh for the Commanders. But, uh, let’s talk about some guys that balled out in this game. Um, and we’ll we’ll go over some other stuff, but Bobby Wagner had a good game for the most part. Two TFLs, a sack, uh, Jonathan Jones, whatever. Frankie Lou, we didn’t see too much from him. Jordan McGee was good. some nice tackles at that tackle that he had uh you know great closing speed and then also a TFL. Mikey Sanders still like up and down and make some good plays. He had some really good tackles I thought in this game you know making some big hits uh but also allowed a touchdown and some other catches and then also did force the fumble. So up and down game for Mikey Sanders still. Jeremy Reeves was not good. I mean he just got absolutely I mean like he’s in position to make the tackle and I mean I get it. you’re near the goal line, so you know he’s going to probably score regardless. But so that’s why you’re trying to, you know, rip the ball out, but you got to go for the tackle first, man. And uh that that’s Yeah, that’s just not necessarily the spot to do it. I get what he’s thinking, but uh you know, he just needs to break the plan and it’s a touchdown. So um yeah, in that scenario, I don’t know if I’m the biggest fan of doing that. Uh and just Saquon goes right through him. Will Harris, you know, he doesn’t make the play all the time, but I do like the energy that he does bring. Javon Kinla had a nice TFL and or I guess they didn’t give it to him, but you know, at the line of scrimmage, he was double team, made a nice play on Saquon. Saquon was complaining it was a penalty, was not. And then Jacob Martin, he’s been balling. Uh he got a sack. I don’t know which play it was. I know he got the one against Herz where he fumbled it but then he got back up. I don’t know who they gave that to, but uh considering Igg Bonogany, who was the one who took Technically Herz down to that play, got a TFL, I’m assuming Jacob Martin didn’t get credit for that, so that was another play. Thought Preston Smith was decent. Honestly, the defense wasn’t bad. End of the game, they were, you know, pretty bad, but that’s end of the game, you’re tired, you’re frustrated, your offense hasn’t helped you out, you know, at all. It’s understandable. But um you know the defense wasn’t awful um in this game and it is what it is. Uh Terry was good. Three catch 53 yards on four targets. He was good man. He had a nice 40-yard catch. He had another catch where uh he fell and he cooked Quinon but you know he might have cooked himself till he fell caught the the the pass on the floor and uh you know that’s how bad of a pass it was that you know he’s he caught it while he was on the floor. Um, unless that was on purpose, you know. Yeah. I don’t know why I said that’s how bad of a pass it was, but it’s just funny how if Terry doesn’t fall, it’s probably not a catch. Uh, and then Josh Johnson, like I said, was not good in this game. A didn’t really run the football as well. Uh, Trey Burks, he had two catches, 30 yards, and the the refs, whatever. You know, they were bad in this game, but the Commanders lost this game. You know, fair the Eagles won fair and square. Commanders lost this game. But the rest, man, were awful. Brandon Coleman got called for uh holding not holding at all. The first possession after the fumble by uh Will Shipley. I mean Treyen Burks was held was mugged by Cooper Deene and his whole arm was you know held and uh they didn’t call it. And then he also on that Brandon Coleman uh holding he had a really nice catch. He had a really nice catch and it got called back. So, and he also was what’s it called? He drew a PI at the end of the game. I know it’s against Keley Ringo who sucks. Uh, shout out to my Eagles uh friend Kyle. But, uh, who was chirping a lot this game, but yeah, Key Ringo uh, you know, Kyle’s not the biggest fan of him. So, you know, I’m sure Keely Ringo is not, you know, it’s not super impressive to absolutely toast him, but still, I think Trayon Burks is definitely a bright spot. him and Jordan McGee are guys I want to continue to see more and more PT from, you know, getting them more opportunities to see if they can be, you know, pieces of the future. I saw Drake Jackson go in there a little bit in this game. Had a tackle. I didn’t see too much from him, but again, first game. Let’s, you know, see what he does these next uh few games for the Washington Comm or yeah, next two games. Uh, but real quick, a word from today’s sponsor. And this is the second time I’m recording this second half of the video. So, this is going to be a lot shorter than what it originally was, which is probably like five or six minutes. But uh you know again huge shout out to Sleeper but uh I was talking about the refs. It is what it is man. You know the refs at the end of the day uh you know they weren’t the reason the commanders lost the game but they did miss some other uh calls. Like I said the the Brandon Coleman one Burks PI that should have been called and then the offsides by Tyler Owens that somehow was called. I don’t know how that was a, you know, penalty and the no egg monogamy PI, but uh some of those didn’t even end up mattering much. So, like I said, it is what it is. The refs were bad, but the Eagles won fair and square. The Commanders lost this game, too. Like, um, it it is what it is with that one. Um, and I know a lot of people are upset about losing the game. And you know, usually I’m a guy that just f like kind of focuses on the draft pick uh and hoping, you know, not necessarily really really rooting for the team to, you know, lose, but usually kind of favoring that way. In this game though, it’s a divisional game. You got, you know, a bunch of fans like my friend Kyle who, you know, are super rowdy and, you know, Eagles fans, you know how it is, like you don’t want to lose to them. So, I understand in that situation like today would have been good to win, but at the same time, you got to realize they’re going to be, you know, they’re going to 4-1 and uh they’re going to get a good draft pick in this uh coming draft after this and hopefully losing to the Cowboys and the Eagles in the next couple games, which you know would have them at four and 13 on the season. Like I said, you don’t love it, but at the same time, it’s not like us beating, you know, in these next couple games, us beating the Cowboys isn’t going to do anything. You know, it’s not like it eliminates them from the playoffs today. Us losing eliminated them from the playoffs. So, there was some good in it, I guess. And then the last game of the season, I don’t really think the Eagles have much to play for. They don’t really have a chance for that one seed. So, uh it, like I said, it is what it is. And uh this is really about developing players and uh guys like Tayen Burks, two catches, 30 yards uh 24 uh yard catch and on the Brandon Coleman penalty, which was not a penalty, he had a big catch and it got called back. So that was unfortunate. He also drew the PI um on Keley Ringo. Like I said, uh my friend Kyle’s an Eagles fan. Not a big fan of Ringo. So, uh, it’s not a huge accomplishment to get a PI on Ringo, but still, you know, it’s definitely something, uh, that’s positive in this game. And Ben Sinn had a catch. Would like to see him get a little bit more involved, but at the same time, I what, we threw the ball 20 times today. Didn’t throw the ball a lot. So, uh, you know, understandable for, you know, some of our pass catchers to not let it, you know, not get a lot of, uh, yards and receptions. Terry was good in this game, just didn’t get the ball a lot. Uh Debo had a nice 20- yard catch. Um and then that’s really it. And then running the ball, Bill Crosky. I thought he had a decent game. Yeah, it was 3.1 yards carry, but like he had threeish like two to four carries inside like the fiveish area uh near the goal line. And in those cases, like your max gain is five and then sometimes at like one or two yards. So, you’re not going to be in position to get a lot of yards, which definitely diminishes your yards per carry. So, it is what it is with Bill. but thought he was decent in this game. Thought Connor Lee, you didn’t hear his name, which is good. Didn’t have any penalties from what I remember. And you got to wait until after the game. Watch the film and, you know, see the stats in terms of all right, how many pressures did he allow, stuff like that. But just on the surface, it looked good and that’s good for the Commanders. Like I said, I like what Burks had, you know, what he did today. And then Jordan McGee, too. you know, the the TFL was nice. The running after the uh whoever it was that he was running after, might have been Squan or one of the running backs, uh was nice as well. So, I thought he had a good game. I like that, you know, energy from Will Harris. Uh and then I’m trying to think of what else to say. Quan Martin, I mean uh he got he had interception, got called back there, but he also what did he have? I’m trying to think he had the the one of the touchdowns he just got ran over and you know it’s just been a common theme against you know the Bears, Cowboys, whoever it is you know Quan Martin gets ran over he needs to be off this team like there’s some guys that I don’t mind them being on the team like Tyler Owens Percy but like special teams guys whatever that’s fine but in terms of playing on the defensive side of the ball should not get any snaps next year. uh should not be on this team to be honest because I don’t really know what he would add special teams wise and we already have a bunch of special teams studs has been a you know positive for the commanders for sure and uh today uh punt returning Jaylen Lane got hurt he’s got to stop he’s got to stop with some of these returns like he’s a really good returner like once he catches it but sometimes he needs to make that decision to just not catch it and not feel it because that one for sure he should not fielded it, got hurt. So, uh, you know, he didn’t learn it the easy way, but I’m hopefully I’m hopeful he, you know, learned his lesson there. Jake Moody, I would like to see them give him some more. I mean, it’s obviously very situational. Uh, but would like to see him get some more attempts deeper down the field, but he’s been pretty good for the Commanders this year. I don’t think he’s missed the kick. Knock on wood there. Trust way, you know, he’s doing his thing. Uh, you know, would like to see some more pins inside the 510, but it is what it is there. there. And then some guys got hurt at the end of the game. Uh, you know, they should have just just kneel it out there at the end, but uh, who got hurt? Johnny Newton, Brandon Coleman, Sam Cosby, Marcus Mariota, and uh, I’m trying to think of who else got hurt. Uh, Will Harris a little bit. So, did not, you know, didn’t seem like any of those injuries were major. So, I’m hopefully, you know, I’m hopeful that those guys and, you know, praying those guys are back next week or, you know, that it’s just a short-term injury. there’s not anything longterm. So, those guys, you know, hopefully they end up being fine. Uh, so yeah, it is what it is. It’s not a, you know, you shouldn’t be happy after this, after this result. You’re losing to a division rival and, you know, there was some just bad performances today. But, uh, you know, there were some good parts of this game as well. So, thank you guys for watching. Hope you guys enjoyed. Peace.

  1. Adam Peters and Dan Quinn and Fans rather see Sam Hartman start the last 2 games for his job security . He needs his chance and Quan Martin bench him and trade/release
