It hits the wall off his glove. >> And now it’s a force play at home. >> Let’s see. And the throw beat him. >> So you’re going to have bases loaded in two outs. >> Three outs cuz ran to third. >> He ran to third for another force. >> For another force. >> Wow. >> I mean the catch was the second out. Out at the plate would be the third out. >> No catchy part. No catch. First play and then the play at third. Wow. What a play. 1. There have been 3 World Series that have ended on a double play, in 1921, 1947, and 2025. The Giants turned it in 1921, the Yankees were their victim. The Yankees turned it in 1947, the Dodgers were their victim. The Dodgers turned it in 2025, the Blue Jays were their victim. The 1st 2 times it happened, the victim would be the next team to turn it. I am not making this up.

  2. 6:35 Okay, genuine question: the ball bounces off his glove, hits the wall and back into the glove. It is NOT a catch/out. What is the logic behind this being the official rule?
