  1. There is something dreadfully wrong with the way the Jackets play D 5 on 5 in their own zone. They can stop them on the PK but not 5 on 5? That fumbling bumbling push the Ducks put on to score that 4th goal worked? This team hasn’t played decent D in thier own zone since the Torts years. All they do is chase the play. Calling that too many men penalty on the Werenski injury has to be the second meanest ref thing I have ever seen. Worst was not stopping play for a guy bleeding profusely. They did stop play this game for a guy who took a puck in the ribs.

  2. We’ll take the Marchment upgrade. Now give us someone who can play defense. Putting Fabbro w Smith is just asking to be scored on, and the top two pairs aren’t much better in their own end.

  3. Disgusting. Dean doesn't care about winning. Boone doesn't care about winning. Our only great player is injured now. Half this team needs to be shipped out. Most of this coaching staff needs to go. Unacceptable

  4. The permanent black cloud remains over Ohio per usual. I honestly think that watching these games is starting to effect a portion of my mental health. The nail biters, the bad goaltending, the collapses, the OT losses etc. every game I feel my blood start to boil from being so mad. When is the last time we won 4-1? Or 5-2? It’s the same Groundhog Day situation over and over again. I’m so beyond tired of being the irrelevant “poverty franchise”. It seems like every other sports teams goes through natural ebbs and flows of being good for a handful of years, then being bad for a few, a few drafts and trades later, right back at it. The natural circle of life. But not us. We defy logic. We’re in a constant state of bad, to about mediocre at best, maybe squeaking our way into a wildcard just to be an early exit… wash rinse and repeat. It’s mind blowing seeing how the ducks, sharks, Blackhawks etc have surpassed us in a rebuild. I really feel for all of my fellow CBJ fans who have to feel the same dread as I do.

  5. His stubbornness acting like this scheme is working is borderline malpractice. How can you say structurally we’re fine when we have been scored on at ease all season. There needs to be different defensive structure or we’re never going to improve
