BIG CHANGES COMING. Leafs lose to the Preds. Reaction @ Bridgestone Arena… I’m on edge… RANT

All right, we’re we’re wearing the PRS right now cuz we got gifted this. So, we’re going to do it. But, you know, we’re representing the Leafs. We’re in the arena right now. Once again, an absolute joke. And I’m doing this in the most positive way ever. You can’t lose a game like that. After losing against the Caps the way you did, I’m trying to be as loud as possible. You cannot lose a game like that. So, obviously, respectfully, there’s got to be some changes. Um, so I brought my siblings and my girlfriend to this game. I think the biggest thing for me is you’re in a 2-1 hockey game. You’ve got to secure that win. It goes back to Mr. Austin Matthews, the captain. He’s on a breakaway. Austin Matthews of previous years, Austin Matthews of 69 goals, is securing that goal right there. And the Leafs go up 3 to1. It drives me nuts because I think for me when you lose a game like that against Washington, it has to be a win. I I don’t care how you get it done. It doesn’t have to be pretty. You get it done. So, I don’t know, man. It’s it’s against Dallas tomorrow and maybe you get the win tomorrow and it’s a little bit more positive going into Christmas, but if you lose against Dallas and you go over three in the three games leading into Christmas, you’ve got to make some major changes. So, I don’t know. I I I think there’s a few notes, right? Like the Lions were actually better in my opinion. I think the team overall, the dynamic was better. I thought they could have won this game. I thought Nashville actually played a pretty solid game and I thought UC SOS played a pretty solid game. But when I look at the shots, 34-22 for Nashville. Like I said, we’re right here. So, there’s one. >> We can see it. [music] And again, the only reason I’m repres representing this Christmas sweater for Nashville is because I was gifted it. And uh you know what? Actually, I have a lot of respect for the Predators organization. I on a work basis, I have a lot of relationships on the Predator side. Uh my full-time job. So, uh I came here cheering for the Leafs and I got my Leaf jersey on, but uh now I’m repping and as you guys can see, I’m repping the Leafs hat. So, I got the Leafs hat on, but I also got the Leafs jersey on. If you see it here, you’d be able to see it. There you go. [music] Um, anyways, I was prepping the Leafs tonight. I was training for the Leafs tonight. Uh, I’m sick. I’m absolutely sick. What happened? So, uh, I look at what happened at the start of the game. The Leafs had it. But you know what? This is my first time saying if Craig can’t figure it out with this team, it’s got to be a change. And that’s not to say that Craig’s at fault. I’m actually a huge Craig Baruby [music] guy. I’m a huge Craig Barubi guy. But at the end of the day, if you can’t speak to the guys and you can’t get wins, there’s got to be a change. Ironically, Craig Barubi was part of that St. Louis [music] Blues team in 2019 that turned it around in January. Well, we’re getting real close to January. We’re at the end of December now, and this team is second last in the division. So, there’s got to be something. There’s got to be something. And [music] I want your comments. I want your thoughts on what you think is going to happen next. because there’s got to be something here. I I actually don’t even know if I have much analysis for this game individually, but [music] overall, Austin Matthews, William Knander, very mediocre. And William Knander on that empty net goal is it’s disturbing. It’s actually disturbing. [music] So, uh, give me your thoughts. We’ll see what happens.

  4. We need to wake up and it’s embarrassing. We need big changes to this team starting with Craig berule our coach and our GM and our captain and certain players on the team.

This isnt a Berube type team… it hasnt been since he got here… they got rid of one soft player, but the top 9 is STILL mostly soft players… they are missing a Tkachuk type player… how many fucking coaches do they need to go through with totally different styles and approaches before we figure out the mother fucking coach IS NOT THE FUCKING PROBLEM…..

  6. If you were going to let one of the big three go it should have been Nylander or Matthews not Marner. Marner is a defensively responsible playmaker who makes everyone he plays with better. Matthews has a good shot good hands, and a good stick lift other than that he is slow and lacks hockey sense. Nylander is lazy defensively and extremely streaky, great player but not a team player. Marner can turn just about anyone into a 30 goal scorer and if he was the one soft player on a team of dogs no one would complain.

  7. So sad to be a leafs fan (I'm not one btw)…. 2000 to 2015 missing playoffs so regularly. Then 2016 to 2025, one of most talented and skilled rosters on paper. But making second round of playoffs just once. Team must be cursed

  8. I thought it would have been tougher for me to stop watching NHL hockey and the Leafs.
    You know what though it's been rather easy to tune out.
    I don't watch live games anymore because to be frank i'm tired of the segments that include gambling.
    and the Doctor said I should limit things that give me stress..lol and well a certain team in Blue and white ranks up there!
    Sure I can tune it out but even this League has turned me off in terms of their rule book,
    and how they don't protect their players from severe injuries.
    heck I've even have a sour taste in my mouth with the fighting. ( Yea i'm getting Old I guess)
    But this core 3 formerly #16, 88, and 34 have made my decision easy!
    No heart, no cojones, no will, no passion!
    sure they will rank up there in points as a Leaf but
    they will go down as " A wasted Era!"
    John Tavares gets a pass in my books.
    They should have never handed #34 the C
    I like hearing what the pulse is like in Leaf land so I watch podcasts like yours, Dangle's a few more.
    For me I would move 88 and 34 by any means necessary!! I don't care what you have to do but get them off this team ASAP!!

  11. TSN's Mike Johnson pointed out under Berube they were 31st in possession last season. That problem was masked by a very good PP & near the top of the league goaltending. They got outshot constantly, but won a bunch of one goal games. This year poor tending by Stolarz/Primeau to start & a dreadful PP. Berube's systems are not working, so either he goes or he tries something different than dump & chase.

  15. The Toronto Maple Leafs have a work ethic problem amongst the players. They seem to show up only when they feel like it. It is very inconsistent.

    Mitch Marner = hometown legend = scapegoat = Toronto hockey karma
    No Marner, no vision, no playmaking, no passing, no goals, no defense, no takeaways, NO MITCH. Wake up, it's no conspiracy. Who wouldn't sign a hometown hero like Marner? ONLY TORONTO. The team is disconnected without Marner as a "part" of the whole.

  19. The Dallas game or Pitt game shouldn't matter. Changes need to be made now… so what if they win both games. is them being out shot and out possessed and barely scraping away with a 3-2 win good enough to be like "yeah this team totally has it now".

  26. Last night was pretty weird. The canucks are my most favorite team, the leafs are my second favorite team, i expected the leafs to beat the preds, they lost. I expected the canucks to lose against the bruins, and despite being down to times and also giving up two leads, the canucks, on the back end of a back to back, defeated the bruins as lankinen stopped all 7 bruins shooters in the shootout.sure the bruins outshit the canucks 42-22, but atleast about the canucks i can say, that despite limited oppurtunities, they didnt give up, i cannot say the same about the leafs game

  34. I have never seen anything more delusional than ANYTHING or ANYONE associated with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
    It borders on psychosis.
    I used to think it was humorous but now I'm actually concerned for you people.

  35. I dont.think it's trading nylander or knies but matthews I would get him to move his no move claus. The suit louis blues are the perfect option.fir the maple leafs. Brayden schenn, parayko, Robert tomas. The Leafs should definitely rake a big swing at these guys. The Leafs need a much heavier team. Thats why thr Panthers won back to back cups. You play physical and break up plays and you open ice which leads to goals thats how florida plays

  37. Not a Leafs fan as you know. Just me, I am the wrong person😂. I grew up despising everything flyers and that is Beribe. Tob me, you don't hire a goob coach for the offense that is pn the Leafs and they don't have Blues 2019 goaltending to save him. Maybe Matthews needs the "C" taken away? I don't see Brrube as the guy he responds to? They need need a trade to shake things up possibly and it must be players. Now YOU Jonn as axLeafs fan, with everything thst has gone down year after yesr. Aside from Mitch gone and couple D gone, has anything really changed since Game 5 and 7 last year?? THAT was at home and it just seems to have extended just without the shutouts or meaningless 1 goal. I know he id injured, but Stolarz is nowhere what some think he is. Has Austin reached a point where he needs a change of scenery? Or Willy? Tavares?? Has I t gottenTO THAT point??..I got my Devils to worry about…we have THE absolute franchise goalie, but he a sophomore more in college and he is getting his degree so if he goes during summer months maybecwe see hin. Spring /Fall 27. Believe me for us Devils Mikhail Yegorov is the guy we have needed. Unril then, it's just get more playoff experience. 0
