But let’s get to this one between the Arizona Cardinals and the Atlanta Falcons. Two teams that are on the outside looking in, you know, as uh the season comes to a close in the next couple weeks. As you got the Arizona Cardinals at 3-1 on the year, 6-8 against the number this season after a 40 to20 loss to Houston in their last matchup while Atlanta comes into this one off a 29-28 win over Tampa Bay in their last matchup. And you know, they improved to 5-9 on the year, 67-1 against the number. And you know, this is an Atlanta team that, you know, I think that that win over Tampa Bay showed me that this team still cares and that they’re still interested in showing some fight. Uh Kirk Cousins especially, I think he’s still playing for his future. I think he knows that Atlanta is going to start rolling with Michael Penn going forward once Pennix gets healthy and comes back next year. So, if Cousins doesn’t want to retire, you know, he’s going to he’s basically playing as an audition for his next gig. So, I think that’s definitely some motivation here for Kurt Cousins to keep showing up and showing out as the uh the Falcons wrap up the season. You know, I think that he will here. You know, this this Cardinals defense over the last few weeks really has not looked good. They’ve given up 40 plus in four their last six games. It’s just been a disaster for the Arizona Cardinals. This team is 1-9 in their last 10 games. you’re just not uh not really putting it all together. They’re one and five against the spread in their last six games overall and obviously coinciding with a lot of those 40point defensive performances. So, I just I don’t have any desire to back Arizona right now. Jacobe Brassette was sort of the nice little add-on that Arizona had, you know, to take over for Kyler Murray. But, you know, while Brousett has been able to, you know, have some decent outings, you know, two plus touchdowns in each of his last three starts, he’s also thrown a pick in each of his last three starts as well. And it just hasn’t been good enough for Arizona. You know, the offense has not been good enough. You know, there’s only so much that Trey McBride can do in this Arizona offense. And you look at the last three games, this team is still averaging around the same yardage per game, but they’re only putting up 18 points per game. And as much as Atlanta’s defense has struggled at times, I just don’t think I’m getting enough points here to consider the Arizona Cardinals in this spot given their current struggles. So, I’m going to roll with Atlanta here. Whether you lay the two and a half or the three or the minus 150 on the money line is your call here. But either way, it’s the Falcons for me here. Maybe it’s a fade of more of Arizona more than anything else. But I will be treading very lightly in these games where there’s nothing but pride and contract in incentives to play for and both teams have already been eliminated. So, it’s a lean for me towards Atlanta here, but that’s the side I’m going to roll with. That is my free pick for this game. Thank you so much for checking out this free pick video.
