Here’s my Bills report card following a narrow escape in Cleveland

Trying to exploit a Browns’ defensive line that was depleted, Bobby Babich dialed up a bunch of blitzes, but they weren’t having an impact until the fourth quarter.
This sentence should read “Trying to exploit a Browns offensive line…”
We certainly didn’t make it easy for us which has been the method against bad teams with McDermott.
Brady’s second half play calling was questionable. Allen had the bonehead play and missed two throws but he also made 2 great throws and his receivers dropped both. Kincaid got robbed of a catch as well.
It was an embarrassing win but lifelong bills fans know it could be far worse. Happy josh and cook came out seemingly healthy
Sleepwalking just trying to get out alive.
That looks about right to me. The one drive where Cleveland ran the ball down the field and ate up like 7+ minutes reminded me of the snow game against Dallas where the Bills just ran the piss out of the ball.
This felt like the prototypical sandwich game where the better team just played like crap but somehow finds a way to win.
Unimpressed. Cook is the only positive.
Brady and his use of WRs, practically nonexistent.
Our coordinator issues are a problem and I hope they make changes in the offseason
Just get the social media kicker dude. He has to be better than this.
I don’t really agree with Allen’s grade. Some really bad drops on great balls don’t happen and he has sort of a below-average but still good Josh game.
There have now been several games this season where we won because we got lucky and despite ineptitude from our coaches and uninspired play calling. That’s just not going to fly in the playoffs.
What has happened to our passing game? It’s sad at this point. It basically depends on the defense fucking up and broken plays
Even with the score, the game never felt that close to me. It always felt like Cleveland wouldn’t take advantage of the momentum swings and that they would find a way to hand the game back to us.
Can anyone recall a Super Bowl appearing or even winning team that spent their season playing as shitty as we are. Where our wins are by the skin of our teeth?
Personally, i hope the pats win. Knock out the ravens (mostly) and then they have to play the texans in the playoffa, texans beat them. Texans vs broncos… either one will remove a scary defense we play one of those in afc champ. Then head to the super bowl… easy… right? Yup, easy.
The only young stud wr in FA is Pickens. I highly doubt they can pay Pickens. So any WR they wanna add to try and fix this mess, has gotta come from the draft.
To get that guy. They will need to trade all the picks ( premium picks ) to move up into the top 10.. Picks that could be used to fix the defense. So… the debate I keep having with myself..
If you can only fix the wr position OR the defense this offseason, which yields more wins. Most people will uniformly say WR. But imagine having a defense that’s actually good and has some depth. Imagine a defense like Houston’s.
Our wide receiver stats for the entire season look like 4 week totals. We have receivers who are supposed to be starters with 10-20 catches all year.
A tad harsh on the passing – it wasn’t an F, come on … bad but not that bad
