The least credited coach in our history hopefully
Griffin was so bad he needed to be fired mid-season, and Doc was the best thing available at short notice. It’s that simple. Everyone wants it to be more than that (it’s a conspiracy, it’s Giannis GMing, it’s the Bucks not knowing Doc’s history, etc.), but it isn’t. The Bucks needed a coach *right now*, and Doc was all they could find.
As far as nba conspiracies go. This would be a good one.
Nick Nurse was available at the time of AGs hiring. I personally think we’d be in better hands if they’d have went that route. Man did coach a team that won with Kawhi with one foot out the door.
Sometimes I fantasize what an Eric Spo or prime Pop could do with Giannis and this team. Regardless I their best days are ahead of them. Last two games were tight enough that you sprinkle in a Giannis and ya likely get a diff result. Giannis and KPJ just have to share the court for more games then can be counted on part of one hand..
