This shouldn't bother me, but shame on you, NFL. You are, quite simply, lying if you don't revise this stat.

  1. Who cares? I’m sure if you nitpicked every one of Bruce’s sacks you’d find plenty of bs.

If a QB goes down behind the line it’s a sack.

  2. Guess it’s like the “in the neighborhood” equivalent on a double play in baseball. Sheesh.

  3. I fucking love Dion Dawkins. Arguably the second best draft pick behind Josh.

Edit: I actually looked it up because I wanted to give Beane his flowers but I totally forgot that in 2017 Doug Whaley was the GM for the draft and then was immediately fired the next day. Funny that you could argue it was our best draft. 1. Tre White 2. Dion Dawkins 3. Zay Jones 4. Matt Milano

  4. That was such a weird play, and it’s almost entirely on Allen just making a really poor decision. I can’t really get myself to care how they marked it down.

  5. It gives the same energy as “common sense prevails” when the refs messed up that call in the playoffs against the Texans I think? Like, can we not change the rules in the middle of a play?

  6. Allen gave himself up to avoid a hit and a safety. In that (dumb) spot he isn’t thinking about records

  7. Allen gave himself up due to Myles’s pressure.

I mean I’m a ravens fan and can see that. Don’t let football bias make you dense

  8. You don’t get it. Myles Garrett is just that good. He can sack dudes just by thinking about them.

  9. That whole back and forth was just dumb.

No one should get this sack. Now Myles record, when he gets it, will be debated on what the actual number is

  10. I don’t care about the stat. He’s having an historic season.
What I do care about is that the announcers literally couldn’t talk about anything else for the rest of the game
