All of our arch-rivals are out. KC, Baltimore, Cincinnati…….
Mahomes in rehab, Burrow and Lamar will be playing golf in January.
Indy who looked like the best team earlier this year is fading fast
We beat the Steelers once already
I can only really see Houston, New England, and Denver giving us issues on the way to the SB.
What is everyone's take? Is it our best shot this year?

My take is that Beane absolutely fucked our chances this year with this practice squad ass wr room
I watched the Jags beat on the Broncos yesterday and that’s a quietly great team.
Stupid Cats will definitely be a struggle to win against I think.
Never been clearer, never been murkier. That’s Buffalo Bills football babyyyyy
Qe have a pretty good shot this year. I think 2027 could be a great year for us as long as FO gets their shit together.
Also Jax is sort of built to give us problems….and we are gonna have three road games
Regardless of the opposition, if “second half” Bills show up for the full game, we will win. We can beat them all.
Would love to see Houston knock NE out in the first round. And then if we get Houston, we get them at home. I don’t have a Denver take, haven’t seen enough of them, but I feel like they’re beatable.
Yes, but Houston, New England, and Denver are probably the three teams we are going to have to play😂
We ain’t winning jack shit with this receiver corps.
Or this run D.
I want to believe. But I can’t.
It’s the worst team that Allen’s ever had, and it’s a fucking tragedy Beane let it come to this and that the Bills will be playing away in Houston or Denver if they want to reach the SB.
Again, I want to believe.
But I just cannot.
Bro, our team is also not very good. Or have you not been watching? When a team shuts down the run our offense is trash. Look at the second half against the browns yesterday as evidence. We’re not winning the Super Bowl this year, even if we got through the afc you think this team is beating the rams or the Seahawks?
Defense so inconsistent and flimsy, terrible WR’s, might as well win a Super Bowl?
Other teams have improved and the Bills have gotten worse. This year imo will be even more difficult.
Before I had confidence that the Bills could put up 30+ no matter who the opponent and maybe pull out a win. This year I just don’t think the Bills can do that against the Broncos , Jags or Texans. And the Chargers, Patriots and Steelers would not be easy games either.
Bills can beat anybody in the NFL and we can lose to anybody. Question is can we string together 4 game winning streak in the playoffs
Jax scares me. Josh hasn’t beat the Jags in Florida yet. They also run the ball well, and we…..well….you know.
I’m hoping Olivers return helps the D out enough to make us serviceable
The Steelers are gonna be well rested when the playoffs start, unfortunately. The Texans defense is no joke. And the Broncos, Jags, and Pats should not be taken lightly.
The Bills need their own “bye week” when they host the Jests. Hopefully everyone gets healthy in time
The Bills will likely be the most seasoned and tested team in the AFC playoffs.
So their odds are good to be able to knuckle down and beat the young teams they will face.
These teams are all good
No respect for the Jags? They just wiped the floor with Denver in their house.
My take is we won’t get far at all with this disaster of a WR corps Beane has put together.
I’ve said it before – after Beane walked away from offering a 2026 1st + 3rd for Waddle, that was the last straw for me. Done with this fuckin guy.
I am less concerned about New England, more concerned about Jags.
But yeah we have the best path in terms of the competition but will likely have to be road warriors with a very flawed team.
i’m only worried about houston.
should have gone all-in at the trade deadline to get a WR. seeing Cooks drop another dime that hits him in stride, in both hands, for the 2nd week in a row is just sickening. Beane says he called around… we couldn’t have given the raiders the same 4th and 6th round picks the Jags did to get Jacobi Meyers?
Our defense is just so extremely suspect though.
Nothings guaranteed
Bills Defense somehow is actually worse than previous years. WRs can’t get open.
But I like the Bills chance more than ever.
Josh vs that group of QBs. Just need the D to make some stops… Unfortunately the Browns reminded the league that the Bills can’t stop the run at all.
I fear Houston and the Jags more than anyone else, nfc included.
If Josh had even one NFL caliber wide receiver to throw to then yes.
No matter what, there will be a penultimate moment where a matter of inches is the difference between us all wanting to kill ourselves and running nude into the streets.
Very true, the path is wide open! But sadly we have the worst team we have had since at least 2019
How you can look at this team and say this is our best shot is wild. Old guard has been replaced by new great teams.
Can the bills go on a run and win it all. Absolutely. Can they get absolutely blown out round one. Absolutely
This is peak Bills football and I am here for it all. I wil make sure to stock up on beer to get through the next two months all the way to a Superbowl
Also not sure why we keep bringing up our shitty receiver room. Just embrace it. It ain’t going anywhere
This defense is fucking toasted ass. I really have zero confidence they get us through the divisional round, let alone the wildcard if we have to face the Jags
Sure, the rivals are out.
But this is also probably the worst defense weve seen in that era.
Guys…stop this stuff.
The path to the Superbowl is the same every year…beat the other NFL teams made up of NFL players.
That’s it…win games, and keep winning until someone hands you a trophy.
Im very proud the Bills havnt fallen apart like KC/Bal/Cin… but lets not put blinders on… the new era in the AFC has arrived and anyone of the new challengers have solid teams build around them. Bills on the road struggle, asking them to win 3 road playoff games is a tough ask.
Bro forgot LAC and JAX are good this year
We definitely have a shot with Allen at the helm. His playoff experience does matter.
But I can’t agree that the path is very clear. This iteration of the Bills is flawed and there are lots of formidable teams in the AFC. And we’ve never won a road playoff game in the McD era. If Allen is anything less than his stellar self, we are in deep trouble.
The narrative around the Bills in the media is kind of a lose-lose proposition. Because KC/CIN/BAL are all out, supposedly Buffalo needs to win the AFC no matter what. Yet by the same token, the team is too flawed with the poor run D and WR room to make a deep run. Just block out the noise, let’s see if they can catch fire.
The inconsistent playing we show week after week… Nothing is clear tbh
If we had Diggs, Gabe, beasley, Samuel, then yes definitely a clear sb fave.
Beane hater. We have no WR’s. He looks past the position because he thinks Josh can do it all. Which is stupid way of thinking. Wouldnt you want to give him help?
Jaguars are scary too.
Josh has never won in Houston but besides that I’m not super worried about anyone else in the playoffs. I’m hoping we get the 5 seed if we don’t win the division that way we can avoid another collapse in Houston
Hot take but I really hate this talk that keeps getting repeated that ” No Mahomes, Burrow and No Jackson” As if those are the only QBs out there. Yes they have stopped us before but we just gunna pretend like Maye, Stroud and Lawrence are just gunna roll over for us?
I feel like the discussion should be changed to more of, despite the Bills having a rocky year, they are the only ones still going into the playoffs, where Mahomes, Burrow and Jackson all failing.
The fact that our wide receiver core looks like this with two games left you should get someone fired. I just don’t understand benching guys one week and then elevating them the next. I’ll take keon and Gabe over Palmer and Cooks.
The bad news for folks hoping to play the Stillers is that only one team has ever won two road games vs the same team in a season.
The good news is that it was the Jaguars twice in Pittsburgh.
Potentially noteworthy is that Josh Allen has won two road games in the same stadium three times if I recall (In NYC Detroit and Phoenix).
Allen seems to have his worse games against good defenses but fault of his receivers or his own and the post season has nothing but good Ds so i feel like its not gonna be a good time unless everyone steps up. Also no faith in our D either to stop any of these offenses.
Foolishness. The Bills could very easily win the AFC this year, but Denver and New England are not their biggest obstacles. Jacksonville is playing very well offensively and they can run the ball better than almost anyone else in the current group of contenders. Not to mention that Lawrence has been on fire and their defense is extremely opportunistic.
Ignore Jacksonville at your peril
Anyone who thinks that this year is the Bills’ best shot clearly hasn’t watched the Bills play football this year. Tired of the narrative, it’s stupid, ignorant, lazy “analysis”.
It was much clearer in 1990 – 1993
