He’s right. The second line is going right now and if the first line was, we would be very difficult to beat.

Pining for Slaf in c sharp minor
Everyone thought Suzuki caufield were carrying juraj bit it was selfless slaf being the glue that held those two together. 🙁
It’s all good buddy, get ‘em next time

As long as he knows it it’s fine. THey’re playing a lot of hockey in a short period of time. It’s not that crazy to have rough patches. But the Habs do need 13 & 14 to be a little better. Getting healthier would certainly help. Dach fits better on that line than Bolduc i think. What’s the timeline for Dach’s return?
Slaf showing why he was the right #1 draft pick.
Yeah try somebody else on that first line with Nick and Cole plz.

I like Bolduc, but he does not fit the role of that top line. He is incapable of making a play. Suzuki will dangle through 3 guys and send it to Bolduc only for Bolduc to make a spinny backhand pass to no one.
Not to make this about a team that’s not the Habs and all but this is super refreshing to see, as opposed to the “We had too many passengers” type shit from Matthews last year.
Love it when even the captain can take accountability.
He’s not wrong. I love everyone on that line but something is wrong when I look forward to the second line being on the ice over the first.
Any comment about his shootout ? Is it 0/15, 0/16 or 0/17 now ?
Bolduc has the physicality and shot to be an effective top 6 winger. Give him time to develop. This is what coaching involves, and Marty has done an excellent job with basically all our young prospects. Even Xhekaj is developing into a reliable big D man, making less and less mistakes every week, puck movement improving etc. This team, despite the injuries, has taken step after step, and its because the coaches are patient and skilled teachers.
Danault’s arrival is going to reshuffle the lines. It will be interesting to see if they keep Bolduc on the line with them. Dach’s return could be close, and he had some success on their right when he first came with the team. It could be an option if they really want to keep Slaf on the second line.
he could have added to that if the coach had maybe gone with someone else in the shootout, they might have won?

Now that right there is a good captain!
