Saw this on the Pistons subreddit.

TLDR, the company that owns Fanduel Sports Networks just got out of bankruptcy a year ago (this is different from Fanduel itself. Fanduel just licenses their name). They still can't pay their bills and are trying to sell to DAZN. If that doesn't happen, they'll shut down.

  1. Oh no! Hopefully they don’t go with Victory+, a free to consumer way to watch that Anaheim and Dallas are using. That would be awful if we could watch without having to pay for 47 streaming services

  2. We’ll just be handed off to another shit-ass company until the Ilitch’s make their own shit-ass broadcasting company.

  3. Not that Amazon needs more, but I wouldn’t mind a service included in my Prime membership.

  4. Anything that costs less than $20 a month would be nice. Would be even better if it was less buggy.

Honestly would be amazing to have an OTA option again for even just some games

  5. DAZN is far and away the worst streaming service I’ve ever used. NHL.tv moved there this season and it’s been awful; not a single game stream without buffering, 240p quality and stream crashes

  6. You mean those ICE commercials weren’t bringing in the big bucks!! Good get them the fuck off the TV!

  7. GOOD.

I hope they don’t get a fucking bailout of any kind. They don’t deserve it.

    Sports gambling can eat shit.

  8. Good. I don’t watch the wings because I refuse to give money to a company that is named after a gambling company. It’s not even about the $20 per month to me. It’s about not supporting these leeches on society
