Watching this 49ers game tonight. I’m questioning why we ever let this guy go. He’s a beast.

He was gonna cost us tens of millions to stay. Correct me if im wrong but i think..? He took a more reasonable deal with the Niners
We didn’t “let him go.”
Bruce Allen drove him off by nearly killing him with cancer.
And then got a pittance in draft capital for a HOF LT.

We didn’t have a choice we missed a Tumor in his brain well our old training staff and even with a new contract and new money on the table the differences were irreconcilable. And at that point he just wanted out and I think he knew what Ron Rivera was going to be as well.
Trent Williams (LT) and Morgan Moses (RT) are still starting OL playing at a high level for teams in the playoff hunt.
Meanwhile Bruce Allen is unemployed.
Wish he was still ours but he deserves all the success he gets.
There was more to it than the missed cancer diagnosis. A lot of public mudslinging during a heated negotiation. We also couldn’t trust Trent to stay off the weed and stop getting suspended. But in the end Bruce Allen let a premier LT go for almost nothing. We could’ve got a first if we traded him a year earlier.
Crazy to hear that this was the first season since his 2013 that he had started every game.
why is a 49er in this sub?
He punched Richard Sherman at the exact right time to lift our spirits
Gives me faith that Tunsil has a ton of tread on the tires for us
I wish TW and Moses nothing but the best, I cant get mad at talent that left under the Snyder “regime”.
Commanders legend!
Wasn’t this guy called a garbage ass motherfucker by a ref?
The medical staff affiliated with the team botched a literal cancer diagnosis and then the organization waged a PR campaign trying to make him look like the bad guy. I would question his sanity if he didn’t do everything in his power to get the hell out of DC.
Idk man Keith Ismael and BSJ were a nice return for Trent I think
His mom’s comment
“This has been the longest journey,” Veronica Williams said on NBC Sports Bay Area’s 49ers Postgame Live, breaking into tears. “He’s been on the worst team. … I’m so happy. We’re going [to the Super Bowl]. I’m so proud of him.”
