A 45+ is actually outrageous 🔥
Considering this is posted like once a week, im sure lots of people have seen it
When you have the highest goal differential in the league but an ass power play, this tends to happen.

We score 5v5, don’t allow 5v5 goals, and we don’t talk about the power play.

The fact that Power Play goals aren’t counted helps a ton. But I’m still happy to see stats this insane.
Thinking the mid to late 00s Red Wings with Lidstrom had showings like this.
Never been easier to cheer for the Avs as my second team.
Look at the 1977 Canadiens and you’ll see

Their team is +61 which is almost double dallas in second with +36
Dallas fans attacked me when I said the Avs are a tier above the next best teams.
How can anyone deny this. So good.
In 09-10 the Capitals had 5 of the top 6 +/- leaders in the regular season with Jeff Schultz leading the league.

Should we point out that almost every defensive guy on the team is killing it. Five of our D guys are in the top 20 with 4 in the top 10.

I don’t think anyone can ever @ MacKinnon for his diet regime that he pushes on his team mates. Something he’s doing is fucking working lol
This is what happens when a godly team stops defending their incredibly mid goalie and picks up a decent one. If they stay healthy, unbeatable in a 7 game series IMO.
