By the way, if the season ended today we would play:
NFC West – 49ers
AFC West – Chiefs
NFC East – Commanders
Yikes

In reviewing the results of this season and trying to temper my expectations, to not get emotionally devastated, as a lifelong falcon fan seeing this schedule I see there is no way we won’t go 17-0 to a first round bye in the playoffs.
We have to Bryce Young twice again? We’re screwed
We’ve missed the playoffs the previous 3 seasons we played the AFC North (2014, 2018, 2022), with records of 6-10, 7-9, and 7-10, and we’re 1-12 in our last 13 games vs AFC North since 2014. Our lone win being the Browns in 2022. We’re 2-8 vs the AFC as a whole since 2024 (1-4 this year), which has really kept us out of the playoffs.
The last time the Falcons qualified for the playoffs playing the AFC North, 2010, when we went 13-3 and won the division with home field advantage, we went 3-1 vs the AFC North that year, which includes our last victories over the Ravens and Bengals. We haven’t beaten the Steelers since 2006. We also haven’t won a road game vs the AFC North since 2010 over the Browns.
If we can get KC before Mahomes comes back….
Raheem The Dream gotta find a way.
No point in trying to speculate wins and losses before even the offseason starts, by midseason half the “easy” games will look hard and half the “hard” games will look easy
I can’t wait to go to the cleveland game and pay $4 for a ticket
This is why I keep saying every move we make next year should have 2027 in mind because 2026 is a wrap. Y’all are wanting to allocate resources that we barely have to players that are a luxury for a team in our shape. Let these FA’s walk, sign low tier FA’s and let’s play the compensatory game. Don’t keep Kirk around because there’s no point in doing so.
If we’re going to suck next year let’s at least suck and see the light at the end of the tunnel. Right now the Falcons are flailing in mediocrity with no end in sight.
Shit changes too fast for me to care about the schedule at this point.
If there’s a silver lining it seems like a very easy travel schedule.
Hopefully that Chiefs game is week 1 or 2
“Our father, who art in Heaven…”
The biggest problem in this schedule is the number of nfl teams we have to face.
Prolly cuz we suck
We’ve had the “easiest” schedule for years and still are trash, idc about opponents
That just means the falcons are gonna win more of em… easy games are a curse for the falcons
… why are we @ Min two years in a row?
Things change a lot in just a few weeks let alone a whole offseason. No need to fear monger now.
That is brutal
The whole AFC North and NFC North gah lee
“On paper”…..
That’s brutal!
But with a new head coach, we could handle it.
Under another Raheem HC tenure, that’s a 7-10 season i am seeing here.
This is good, we tend to win games we shouldn’t…and lose the ones we shouldn’t.
26 is a write off anyway. Maybe by 2030 we can be competitive
If Raheem and co are back then next season is a throwaway anyways so might as well aim for a high draft pick with that kinda schedule
Do you really think it matters? We played our best games against good teams, and struggled against literally the worst teams in the league. There is no logic.
That third place opponent TBA is going to be the Chiefs angry after a bad season and Mahomes coming back probably, and either the Rams, Seahawks, or 49ers.
