But we could have 2 good defencemen for Hughes, and at a time and window when that’s important. His career would be wasted here. Good move for both teams. The hard part isn’t losing Hughes, it’s realizing we suck so bad it’s pointless to have him

Although I still like Quinn Hughes, it will be nice for a change to be able to honestly say “Makar is the best” without feeling guilt.
