1. The Dolphins drafting Mendoza would be a huge marketing move. Fernando is from Miami, he’s Latino, and he’s Cuban. And we know how large of a Hispanic population Miami has. It would be the best thing that dolphins could do to wash the stench off the last several years. Especially how good of a talker Fernando is. He’s a really good pitch man. Likable guy.

2. Miami should wait around or trade up for Ty Simpson him in Mike McDaniel system would be sweet he’s mobile athletic and calm in pocket

3. We have too many needs to give up picks. Next year should be working on getting our financial house in order and bolstering our team. Keep Tua 1 more year as a backup or compete for starting role plus draft someone in the second or third round if there is someone worthy there, and keep Ewers if he shows anything the next two games. In 27, dump Tua and search again for a QB if we haven’t found one already. Too many needs to give up draft picks for someone that isn’t a generational talent.

4. Sorry to burst bubbles Dolphins nation, but I think it would take a bit more than that to get the Giants pick from 8th. It would take the picks mentioned, plus a 2028 day 1 or 2 pick, or an impact player.

   IMHO, a trade with the Giants from 8 could happen with our 1 and a 3 this year, a 2 next year, along with Bradley Chubb and Devon Achane.

   I'd hate to lose Achane, but Fins have a LOT of needs, and if they're convinced Mendoza is the answer at QB, all options need to be considered.

If they somehow fall to whatever number the dolphins pick they should consider Rueben Bain Jr, Francis Mauigoa, and Akeem Mesidor. If these guys are not available just pick best available CB, S, OL, WR (Big Body)

11. Move up for who though? I'll admit I haven't done a deep dive into college QBs coming out yet…but all I have heard all year long is that there isn't a clear cut can't miss prospect in this year's qb class…

    We arent going to win anything next year anyway, I would just ride with Wilson and Ewers, and if you can afford it, a bridge vet, a Flacco or something…may the best man win the job. Whatever happens, happens

    Come 2027, have adequate trench play in place, and do what you have to do to get your qb in that draft. We need to quit F'ng around and quit building the plane as we fly it. Build a solid foundation for a rookie qb to step into so you get an honest look early so you know if the kid has "it" or not….no more Tannehill/Tua 6 year stints of "is he good enough"
    If you have a solid foundation, the first 2 years should tell you if you have your qb. He should be able to show you something you can bank on. If by year 3, it isn't clear, move on and try again

    I'm not a fan of trading up for Mendoza. We need to continue building from the trenches out. Going after the splash players has killed us over the years.

18. I see a lot of potential with Ewers. Glad we have 2 games to get a good look at him..When we got Marino, he was coming off a sub par year. Ewers was expected to be a first rounder but had a similar disappointing finale year. Let's see what we've got with him..

21. Happy Holidays all. Adorbs with the baby. Mazel Mazel. I tried to watch Ewers with an open mind, but I just didn’t think he was facing any kind of real defense. The completions for the most part, were against D that was laying back. For sure has a strong arm. Just my opinion. Still anything but Tua at this point is a breath of fresh air. Must get a new head coach regardless. He’s just an offensive coach.

26. As a Texas fan, I watched every game from Ewers. I’m not surprised he is making these throws with barely any time with these receivers. He was once a preseason hiesman contender and played against the best defenses in the SEC. Watch his Gruden QB show. He’s legit if he has the support and right weapons.

27. Waddle was another terrible pick!
    We could’ve taken PSII instead who in the #1 CB in the league and the son of a former Dolphin. Waddle is booty cheeks and I would be grateful to receive a 1st round pick! He will never be a #1 WR and doesn’t put on enough work or effort. Hill would come back on Tua’s 10 yard under thrown balls and make the catch in double coverage or knock the ball down from the defender. Waddle does NONE of that and can’t even create space.

    I’d only keep about 10-15 players if I were GM with an endless budget. Realistically this team can’t recover for at least 3 years due to cap limitations and bad players and terrible coaches and an owner with a negative football IQ and etc…

31. We should do what it takes to get mendoza, hes a proven qb in college. Its one of those generational talents you cant miss out on like mahomes, bo nix, drake maye. Everything else should fall in place after we choose our main concern. The qb needs to be the center piece we dont have and work our way outwards becasue if we dont its going to cost us many more years of pain.

32. Gonna take a lot to move up, mutiple number 1's. Jets have a lot of draft capital to move up. Most likely Noodles comes back for one more season where his cap hit would be less after 2026. Btw way that 3rd and one play is a call a SOFT team makes

33. Stay at our pick if it’s top 10 get Tyson, Downs or Delane. If those aren’t available I would look at Ty Simpson or o line.

34. The Dolphins need a better roster. They could have Mahomes next year and it won’t matter. Draft another 8 or 9 good players and get the QB in 27. Trading up for one player would be dumb. I say trade down, stack picks in 26 and 27 and keep getting young players. This team is not one player away. They have no pass rush, no WRs, need a guard (at least), need a TE, need safeties and a QB.

    I think we should skip on the QB next draft. We have too many holes in the Oline and defense to fix next year to worry about trying to go playoff bound. We need to have a foundation first then a QB.
