4. Too much talk about Blackburn, but that's only because there have been no major moves. I don't know if the Yankees have a single plan, but they may have a 1-A and a 1-B. Bellinger is in 1-A, but I don't think they'll be caught flatfooted if Bellinger goes elsewhere. It will simply direct where they'll pivot. Regardless, Bellinger signing with the Yankees or another team will free up the Yankees market. As for Imai, he hasn't met with the Yankees or ANY team. He's still in Japan! What does that mean? He already has a couple of preferred teams and he'll sign quickly when he lands on U.S. soil in the next week.

5. Why is every Yankees podcast so angry. Is anger the only thing the algorithm rewards? Still look on the lookout for a chilled channel not wanting to jump off the bridge because they signed Blackburn 😂

6. Yanks have been sleeping for much of the past 25 years and for nearly all of the past 15 years. Cashman now is in the shell shocked deer in the headlights phase of his asinine career and Hal is cut from a different cloth from his father. George made a lot of mistakes but he was obsessed with winning trophies. Hal is obsessed with P&L Excel pro formas. Yankees used to rule baseball even when they weren't winning. Now the Yanks are just another team.

7. Ryan is not overreacting. Blackburn is (at best) a Spring Training invitee. Cashman may as well have just lit $2m on fire.

8. Blackburn is a mistake. Giving him a roster spot was madness. If that was deal breaker let him go.. for every project that makes it, at least 5 don’t., I can understand why they would trade Jason, but don’t do it. A major mistake. 14. Your over thinking that contact vs power approach to hitting a bit. It’s not that we want guys like IKF or clement. Outside of judge and Stanton, I think fans would prefer that if hitters don’t have count leverage then you should be trying to put the ball in play. I don’t think anyone wants to watch Volpe pull off the ball with 2 strikes on a slider away and roll over weakly to the left side of the infield. Or jazz swinging from the heavens to try and have a heroic moment… it’s more about having an understanding of the game within the game. Ryan McMahon is just a bad hitter, he whiffs like crazy he just doesn’t posses the skill set to make more contact he just doesn’t have the ability to which is fine.

    But if your not judge or Stanton, in certain situations you should have a better approach depending on game situation obviously. I think Arod has the right idea but he doesn’t convey it properly.

18. Great channel. yankees will probably end up signing Cody Bellinger. I would be ok if the Yankees get Tatsuya Imai. And Cody Bellinger back. Still not perfect but I will take it. Do not be worse than before please.
