[Shams] Cam Whitmore Out Indefinitely with DVT in Right Shoulder

Really tough to see especially seeing that he had started working closely with Keefe
this is what Wemby had right. dang
This may actually explain the shooting slumps as well. I’m still a whitmore optimist, should he recover from this, get his shot back, and start to commit more to playing within our system, he could be a real asset
>“Inside the organization, the concern has been the day-to-day work. Amid a 3-19 start to the season, Washington has emphasized establishing firm practice habits and a consistent approach across its young roster, and Whitmore has not consistently met those expectations,” reported Grant Afseth of RG.org.
>“If you’re trying to establish yourself in the NBA, **you need to show up to practice**,” said one source, per Afseth.
On the brightside, now he’s going to be out probably for the season, he might be able to drop his old bad habits while he’s not playing. I really really like Whitmore so I really hope he can come back to be one of our key bench pieces for the future.

Scary stuff. Hope he fully recovers
So what happened with those rumors that whitmore was out because of attitude problems and not showing up to practice? https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/wizards-rumors-cam-whitmore-day-172629578.html
