About:
Today we are breaking down the latest Red Sox News that includes HUGE claims on what the Red Sox do this offseason! Or maybe more importantly what the Red Sox WON’T do this offseason! We breakdown the idea of the Red Sox signing a TOP FREE AGENT BAT like Alex Bregman and Bo Bichette this season season and if this is ENOUGH to become one the BEST offenses in baseball. We breakdown the idea of the Red Sox making a HUGE SIGNING for their offense and why it is SUPER IMPORTANT that The Red Sox make more than one BIG MOVE and what that could to do to the 2026 Boston Red Sox. Plus we talk about the latest UPDATES on where the Red Sox stand after the BIG Red Sox TRADE and why it may mean the Red Sox are TRADING one of their BEST young rookies!!

  1. Suarez wouldn’t really make sense for the Sox. He would be a panic signing I feel like. I think it’s Bregman I think Boras is the only thing holding it up. I think people are getting exhausted with him saying teams are in when they aren’t. He said someone was in and the team refuted them saying they never contacted him. At some point I think he’ll be back I hope 5 years worth.

  2. Still need another ace after Crochet. Sonny Gray is not that but sceptical that will happen with the Red Sox going for cheapest way possible.

  3. Im crazy but, i would be fine with okamoto as the other bat. I truly believe that he will work out well……. But yeah you are the red sox bregman or bichette should be the answer

  4. I have been in favor of most of the moves, as well as non-move/overpay/too many years philosophy up to this point. But this Contreras move is puzzling. It's a lateral move for an older guy. Wilson and Tristan are pretty much the same guy with youth on Casas side.

  5. I believe the Ketel Marte trade market has died. Do you have a thought on maybe if sox could swing a deal for masa and high prospects. Or would he completely kill the deal.

    Masa
    Early
    Campbell
    Arias
    And maybe more

  6. For the Red Sox as currently constituted (stipulating their goal is to win the division and go deep into the playoffs in 2026), a #2 starter is more of a need than a big bat.

  7. (commenting for the algorithm) I'm still waiting for the Rally Cat merch drop. (I'd absolutely buy some) Also… I still like the OG portable stereo at the start of the intro. (I remember when those were cool)

  8. Breslow is trading for good contracts more than looking for good players. We want a Bo Bichette or Bregman- they will be surpassing the second threshold when they sign a FA

  9. I like this trade and I also like that Breslow said the roster is incomplete. It's going to be interesting to see how Cases and Masa fit It's too early to tell. At least moves are being made we'll continue to see what happens 🤞⚾

  10. I don’t believe that Boston will be making any splash. If anything it will more of the same that they have been doing. Cheap 35 year old guys they can get a team to eat some of their salary. I would say Chaim and Berslow have one more shitty trade to make. You guys are still hoping for a big move the fans won’t get. Plus John Henry will be raising ticket prices again.

  11. On the one hand, I share in the frustration that Henry isn’t spending. On the other hand, I think of all the times he’s been burned on big free agent spending. Carl Crawford, Big Panda, Hanley Ramirez, David Price, Trevor Story, David Wells, JD Martinez, Masa, Castillo, Dice K, Lackey. Some had a decent year or two but they all were way overvalued and kept our hands tied keeping younger talent. I’d be wary too if I were him, honestly. Bregman was injured this past year, he’s older. Probably going to spend a chunk of time on the DL this year too. And how many years after that? Wouldn’t we rather lock in Tolle and Early for a long period of time than have that money going to an aging injury risk? I don’t know man, look at the Mets. They’ve spent like drunken sailors and where has it got them?

  12. hahahaha, the perfect trio, $42mil for those scrubs. (hicks, yoshida, sandavol) The Sandoval signing still makes no sense to me. why does Bresblow pay these pitchers to rehab their tommy John on the Red Sox dime? he loves elastic elbows.

  13. Ughhh…. No more Bregman! Love Bichette’s bat. Don’t love the idea of paying a guy who should be a 2nd Baseman, Franchise Short Stop money. Neither have the “Pop” I think the team needs. Marte is the guy I want. I know the cost. I know the optics of it aren’t great . You bring in Mr. Team, (Breggy) don’t bring him back, make Devers look like The Anti-Christ, THEN, You go out and drop huge prospect capitol on another player who’s supposedly got character flaws. It just makes the most sense to me. You’ve got a bunch of guys who could potentially give you 15-20 HRs. Ketel is more in the 30-35 Home Run echelon. Plus, if he busts. It’s not like you’re paying him 35-40 Million forever. Shockingly, I agree with Henry here. I hate seeing these EYESORE contracts. Bregman is an eyesore waiting to happen. Bichette could also. This is why trading Devers was almost as foolish as Mookie. Devers was signed ! And not even a year later we’re looking for a “Slugger” 🤦🏻‍♂️

  14. I love your content. But can we please stop calling them cheap? Why would they spend money over the last half decade when there was no core in place? Now there's a core but the CBA is up in a year and there is talk of a salary cap. If one is implemented, a big contract now could hinder future possibilities for the organization

  15. I really want bo bichette I think it makes a lot more sense long term. Bregman will be 35-36 making ~30 million dollars if we were to sign him for 4-5 years. I get the chemistry dynamic but that only takes you so far.
