No I was thinking the same thing. I’d rather watch him for a meaningless game than hurts and first string play for a 1% chance to move from third to second seed.
Yes, I want him to play, ball the hell out, and earn himself a ton of money and us a great draft compensation.
He’ll start against Washington. Now that we can’t get the bye, we’ll manufacture our own in the last week.

I like McKee and I’m glad we have him. But I’m absolutely tired of “McKee Truthers” who appear determined to undermine Hurts any chance they get. As far as the last two weeks, we should be focused on the 2 seed. If we beat the Bills and 49ers beat the Bears, Hurts and the starters are playing in Week 18. Not to mention a lot of people are completely overlooking that the Panthers can still leapfrog us for the 3 seed. McKee is only playing in Week 18 if the 3 seed is wrapped up and the 2 seed is not possible.
Need to see him play at least a bit more to raise his trade value, howie needs to con someone into giving us a decent draft pick for mckee
Did you not watch the Giants game last year? He handled 4 quarters (near as makes no difference) just fine.
The very few opportunities he’s had to throw to the main weaponry was against Dallas last year when we clinched, that was after Pickett’s ribs gave out and Tanner finished the game. He looked fantastic, albeit Dallas were atrocious last year.
I don’t know that we’ll ever see him have 4 quarters with Smitty, AJ and Goedert to throw to. He’ll get the Washington game to throw to Darius Cooper, Covey probably and EJ Jenkins etc.
He looked good throwing to Johnny Wilson and Ainias Smith etc. He’ll do fine with Darius Cooper, Xavier Gipson, Covey etc to close out the season.
All things being equal, he’ll ball out and get traded in the off-season.
He played Wk 18 against the Giants for 4 quarters and acquitted himself well. He’s a solid option for backup.
He literally played last year against the Giants and like half the game against the Cowboys both at home

Well, we did see him start a game in the regular season finale last season.
At this point I think there’s a strong chance he starts the game against Washington in Week 18.
We only get 17-20 games of Jalen a year.

Put him if the game is in hand and give Hurts a rest. I don’t want him traded though. If Hurts goes down we’d need a solid QB to carry the load, unless the trade is really good.

Honestly, no, I’m not. There’s really 2 options:
1) He looks as good or better than we’ve seen in a small sample size and we get more morons saying dumb things every time Hurts has an incompletion.
2) He looks worse and that hurts his chances of getting a starting job in a year and change when he’s an FA.
All the pick up truck and country music guys are super excited!
Nah I would rather play for the two seed and let AJ and Smitty get to 1k yards. Right now we might play the Rams at home and I would rather play the Niners.

He was selected 6th round 188th overall. He sucks. He basically was picked where Tom Brady was picked. 👀

Tanner McKee is like an NFT. Hopefully he plays well so we can trade him before someone realizes he’s not a franchise quarterback.

Either Hurts is injured or the game is meaningless. And meaningless games are basically like preseason games. Sure they can be fun, but there’s no stakes involved so it’s basically a glorified scrimmage.
Maybe in the last game against Washington but not against the Bills.

All I remember is when he heard his Madden rating was 61, he took that personally and went bananas in the preseason
