  1. Murakami instantly thought “Man I’m still learning beginners English and preparing for next season fuck do you mean I gotta speak Spanish”

  2. At first, I thought he was trolling Murakami. On my rewatch of the video, I realized that this was just a big misunderstanding. Let’s all laugh at the irony of the man’s statement!

  3. This is way funnier than I was imagining, bro looked like he walked into the final and realized he’d studied for the wrong subject

  4. I read the headline to mean that Murakami speaks fluent Spanish and wanted to answer questions in it, so there was some confusion here too.

  5. Basically every Japanese person’s worst nightmare. Like showing up to the entrance exams and realizing you studied the wrong subjects. His parents will be furious when they find out he didn’t get into any of the decent high schools.

  6. The north side had Mike Imanaga… allow me to introduce you to the South Side’s Miguel Murakami

  7. As an aside, the vowel sounds in Japanese are the same as those in Spanish:

    /a/ /i/ /u/ /e/ /o/ is the order in Japanese.

If you know of those sound like in Spanish you know what they sound like in Japanese
