  1. Jokic hasn't hit a game-winner in forever. He needs to realize that all greats with multiple rings have gotten there thanks to game-winners made by THEM. We got bailed out by AG last season. Jokic needs to get mentally stronger; we will face many of these situations in the playoffs. Also, what's up with 0 field goal attempts by Jokic in the first 4 minutes? Jokic is starting to remind me of Federer in his 30s, so much offensive firepower and talent, but in the last sets, he just doesn't have "it" or the hunger.

    Make or miss, I'm happy if it's Jokic taking the shot. That's how the basketball gods reward you. A 60%-80% shot passed up from your MVP (which could have bounced back to us even if it was blocked or hit the rim, with 3 seconds left) he passes up to a player who hit 0 three-pointers for a 3-point shot in a 1-point game.

    Adelman is a great coach, better and more modern than Malone, but man, those 1st-quarter "lethargic" starts or these 4th quarters this season (which we’re net neutral on) are a thing Malone would fix.

  2. Another loss thanks to Jokic. Where’s the fucking defense? Wembanyama barely did anything offensively today and the Spurs wiped the floor with OKC. Do the Spurs have a better team than the Nuggets? This defense was pathetic and as usual it starts with Jokic. He wouldn’t have to have a triple double every night if he just put in some defensive effort and stopped with the lazy passing resulting in turnovers. WTH was that last shot? I rather Jokic take that 5ft floater over a double team than pass it out to the 3 point line to a guy who was cold all night. My God. Can Jokic be serious for a full season? Who cares about the insane stats when he’s load managing himself every game against a sub .500 team. Do better cause at this rate there’s no chip coming in June.

  3. No…it is not Jokic. It is the team that has no interior defense, no perimeter defense. They celebrate "amazing" victory vs Utah but they allow 130 points against Dallas and Houston and Sacramento. With Denver, is the same story every year since 2023..no defensive effort and that's why 1st round of playoffs exit is not out of the question!

  7. This is pretty unrealistic and I guess any team can feel like this, but the nuggets should have lost only two games this season, the warriors opener and the most recent rockets game. Expectations are high for this team. Obviously injuries play a huge factor but when you have the best player on the court with his sidekick playing at an all nba/all star level, those expectations remain.
