  1. Who is upset we don’t have a first round pick? Don’t listen to them – they are smooth brained

  2. Whoever kept lying on JPJ’s name between the 2024 draft where he was projected top 5 and the 2025 draft where he went at 23rd due to “character concerns” after returning to college to play one more year, you are my goat. Thank you for pushing the DROY all the way down to us in the 20s. Fuck that pick next year and fuck the Rams.

  3. Why would anybody on our side be upset? You would be looking for the next JPJ with that pick. We already got him. People need to throw away the pick a guy got drafted at or whatever pick we might have next year and focus on the players. We got JPJ and Watts. We would have happily drafted those guys as first and second round picks. We lost absolutely nothing. Now we have a more developed JPJ for next year.

  4. I’ve never had an issue with the trade, given Pierce’s production this year. In a few years when analysts do a redraft, odds are he will be much higher than where we snagged him.
My larger issue with our personnel is how we signed an aging, past his prime QB coupled with an injury prone QB in the draft previous…and now all of our fears have come realized. Kirk is just ok – with a premium price tag and Penix…well who knows what happens with him now.

There are teams like Tampa that get Brady and then scoop up Baker…or the Pats who had Brady and scoop up Drake Maye…and we are over here floundering for someone to replace Ryan still

  5. I’ve been saying this all season

JPJ pick and losing the 2026 1st isnt a reason to be upset

But the expectations that we would be handing the rams a low round pick and making playoffs as the base line of the decision is the problem

Even when we grabbed Penix at 8 because we wouldnt be “picking that high” makes the Penix pick itself “feel” worse than it is

Losing the 2026 pick doesn’t matter

The foundation of the falcons decision and execution is the problem

The results of the decision doesn’t equal the premise of it

  6. We just got the 2026 pick a year early essentially. I don’t understand why people are upset by that, and the guy delivered. Very glad he is here.

  7. Don’t care about the first.

I care we are constantly out coached and our depth isn’t great

  8. Picks are like lottery tickets. No one knows anything. Do more players succeed that come from the top of the draft? Yes. Does your team benefit from having more picks at the top of the draft? Yes.

It’s funny that it’s the Rams, who with this general manager, has had great success NOT using high picks on players but trading back and taking more players. I don’t fault the Rams for accepting the offer the Falcons proposed. Does this mean that the Rams will get a guy that’s comparable to JPJ? Maybe? Who knows.

I’m generally against trading up in the first round, unless it’s a quarterback, but no one really knows. It’s all talk.

What any team should’ve doing is paying for the best possible staff it can get.

What would Atlanta trade for Sean McVay? What would the Jets trade for him? I think most of these issues are already on the sidelines of these teams when they bring in these new players and we shit on the players bc they failed.

Imagine getting hired right out of college with your fresh law degree and management put you on the biggest case it’s had in years. You do your best and fail. Is that your fault? Maybe, but I think management has some blame in this as well. Then you get fired, and the word gets out, you suck bc you lost your first case. So now, you can’t hardly find any work, bc that shitty firm bad mouthed you.

Maybe these kids should refuse to go to these shitty teams.

  9. I’m on board for Terry. Can we PLEASE get rid of McKay now? I know Morris will be here for year 3.

  10. its fair to say this was bad process and be ok with JPJ the player. the idea that there arent any edges in this class that could be a more complete player than him is not rooted in reality. ideally you’d hope he can eventually be an every down player like the DEs projected at the top of this draft. when you study his run defense it’s easy to see why he was only playing 50% of the snaps his play there was still a massive detriment to the defense overall.

we have been on the extreme end of no pass rush life but you still need to see more. he is one of the biggest reasons why their run defense was bad enough to still have them at the bottom of the league there and was often bad enough to negate the pass rush positives.

im excited for him and i hope he continues to grow and get bigger and sturdier so he can hang with the good offensive tackles from a physicality standpoint like jalon walker does.

  11. A friend of mine is a Giants fan and even he said he wished that Abdul Carter was producing like either of our rookies lol.

    This shit feels unnatural.

  12. They should be upset, as should you. This isn’t supposed to be an indictment on JPJ rather our organization and their failure in utilizing draft capital. In a vacuum obviously JPJ is worth a first round pick, no question, the problem lies when you consider what literally everyone else in the league gives up for late first rounders. The giants traded up to the pick before us for Jaxson dart, who plays a higher value position, and only gave up 2 3rds and 1 2nd. Nobody is mad we have JPJ there is just absolutely no reason for that amount of draft capital to be given up for him at the spot he was taken. That first rounder probably would’ve been a top 10 pick this year had we not traded it and started winning games after we were already eliminated. Now we give a Super Bowl contender two first round picks

  13. I think most people are just upset because wondering who we’re going to pick and watching the draft is fun. We don’t really have anything to look forward to. The trade was obviously the right call.

  14. Falcons got two starters out of that trade, Pearce and Watts. Highly unlikely that the Rams get better value than that with the 2026 first round Falcon pick
