For a team that prides itself on being defensive and getting to the line on offense, we generally can’t get a stop or make free throws when it counts. Very frustrating.
Bane blocking a guy a foot taller than him to seal it. Killer
Damn another one that we couldn’t close out. Unfortunate but it’s at least good that they are in these games. Last year they’d lose this by 45.
Caleb made some huge plays on defense. If he can play defense like this consistently he will be in the NBA for a while. Three blocks, a couple help side deflections, (making his shots for once in ten games)…good game by him.
Hansen did some things. Defense was mostly meh (he did block Isaac once though!), but he had a tip in, a nice up and under to draw a foul on Isaac, and a good patient pass to a cutting Love.
Also Paolo was totally invisible tonight. wtf. Settles for too many bad jumpers.
Missed clutch FTs and mental mistakes are super frustrating to watch.
Transition defense the first half was terrible. Getting beat back after made shots over and over
Deni taking isolation middies is a positive sign for his development (but also dude looks so tired).
Kris was in the right place at the right time a lot (as per usual). Good game by him.
Not sure how many times we’re gonna do the “great comeback in the 4th, but came up short in the end” shtick, but this won’t be the last time. Also, I miss Dame taking the big shot at the end of the game.
Deni is not to be trusted with the last shot. He made two wild decisions already this season. Not even close to be decent decisions for the last shot

Way too many random plays as a pro team.
I’m just surprised we’re this good with so many injuries. It’s not fun but it does give me hope for the future when we’re healthy.
Seems likely Shae was on a minutes restriction but they gotta be managed better than that. Came in at the beginning of the 4th after resting almost the entire 3rd, Blazers went on a 12-0 run that he had 6 of and took the lead in like 3 minutes and had to come right back off til the last 3 minutes
Goddammit. This freaking team. At least lose earlier rather than toy with my emotions and sleep! How do they always find a way to get back in games only to lose it in the dumbest ways possible.
The only games the Blazers have been able to close out are with Jrue Holiday. We have now lost 5-6 games that we would have won with him. Thats the difference between the 6th seed and the 10th seed.
Bring back the PGs goddammit.
Bane with 3 blocks and 3 steals was not on my bingo card. He gives all dinos great hope
Can’t believe Deni doesn’t dump that fast break to Shae. Seemed to get in his way in thr half court as well.
Many reasons we lost tonight.
But not least of them was Deni missing all 3 shots in the final 2 minutes, including a rushed, Ill-advised 3 point attempt. I wish I could say this is the 1st time he’s made that mistake….
upside Yang is solid, he have limited minutes put great effort and stats looking great too
DC played almost the whole 4th quarter and seemed really tired at the final minutes. Why not give hansen another 2 or 3 minutes to let DC have some rest? In that case maybe it would be a dunk instead of a block.
