  1. Everyone can be down on Yoshida but the Red Sox probably don’t get into that playoff without his singles in the last two games. He is anemic power wise but he makes good contact. Having said that Casas is more trade able . If they get another big bat of course, Yoshida is not valuable but they seem to be piecing the team together and are not gonna go for the HUGE free agent bat . Maybe that’s smart …we shall see.

  2. Lets start with Contreras and his games played history. It's not good. 2025 was his best year since 2018 because he didn't catch. He's a year older now so is a 34 yr old going to play 135 games at DH and 1B for the next several years? Or will he revert back to 108 games a year due to frequent minor injuries? Is Casas just done or will he an Yoshida fight for time at DH/1B giving Contreras lots of rest? Will the team force a square peg in a round hole by playing a platoon hitter in RF after he hit .216 after April in 2025? Or will they wake up and smell the roses and put Rafaela in RF, Duran in CF and Anthony in RF and move Abreu while his fake GGs give him value? Rafaela at 2B to accommodate Abreu is a massive mistake. Remember, he hit .216 after his hot streak ended April 30th. Casas deserves a second chance at 1B like Campbell deserves a second chance at infield. Depth is great but Cora isn't smart enough to use it effectively. He simply plays favorites and kills the team's chances of winning. This team won't be 2018 level so he will lose enough games to keep this team from competing for a division title. As of now, they are a 3rd WC at best.

  3. As far as I can see it, they have caasas Yoshida potentially Bello and Duran I would hope that all four of those players would net you a #2Or 1 B on movie try to snag another shortstop in that deal. I’m not sold on Marcelo Meyer quite yet.

  4. You lost me early when you said Casas played "29 or 30" games before his injury. If you can't be thorough enough to verify this simple stat before coming on air, why should we pay attention to anything you say?
